Stopped in here for dinner today after wanting to try for some time! We sat at the bar but there were still some tables open around 5:30pm. We started with the beans and greens, which were tasty and nice and garlicky. However, I personally prefer escarole over the spinach that was used. For entrees, we got the chicken Alfredo and the stuffed banana pepper ravioli. Portions are enormous! Both entrees were good, but I misunderstood and thought the stuffed banana pepper ingredients...
My husband and I had our New Year’s Eve lunch at Roman Bistro in Forest Hills today. It was absolutely wonderful. Our server Greg was a delight. The food reminded me of grandma‘s house. The restaurant was all decked out in Holiday cheer and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. An upscale place with a down home feel. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough.
Beautiful restaurant. Really clean . Personable servers. They have fried zucchini. One of the best wine bars around. Thanks . I kinda get sick of the wooden tables and chairs instead of restaurant booths but it’s really well kept .
