Perfect venue for rehearsal lunch. Abbey, the manager, was first class to work with planning and execution. Great communication.
Staff at event friendly, efficient and personable.
Highly recommend

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Roost in November 2024, and it was an absolute dream venue! The space is beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of modern elegance and warmth. The natural light and unique architectural details made for stunning wedding portraits.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring that the day ran smoothly for both the couple and their vendors. From the seamless timeline coordination to their willingness to help with anything needed, they truly went above and beyond.

If you're looking for a gorgeous, stress-free venue in Pittsburgh, The Roost is a fantastic choice. As a photographer, I can confidently say it’s a venue that makes for breathtaking photos and an unforgettable wedding day!

ROOSDT was excellent tonight for a dear friend’s wedding reception. And Ralph at the pasta station demonstrated extreme poise, patience, and professionalism. With the help of Fran they plated an amazing amount of food for an entire wedding party. Please recognize these two hard workers.

Great food, service, and ambiance. Margo was our server; she’s super friendly and fast. I had the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. Both were delicious. I highly recommend Revel. We will be back!

Last week we held a bridal shower for our daughter at the Roost! We had 65 people attend, and I had to do all of the planning from out of state. Their account manager and my event liaison, McCall Murray, was easy to work with, conscientious and cared deeply about the outcome of the event. We worked on a special menu together that was EXACTLY what I was looking for and a floor layout that met all of our needs. The space was absolutely beautiful, the food was truly exceptional (thanks chef), and their service team led by Trevor was second to none. Honestly I am incredibly particular, and there is truly nothing that I can offer them feedback on! (Ok wait, I know, order some water goblets!).My sincerest thanks and gratitude for making the ENTIRE experience so easy, and for helping to make memories that will last a lifetime for our family!

We spent the evening at the attached Hilton Garden and decided to try the Revel for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. We both had what was equivalent to a Breakfast Smile. Price was $14x2. Both the potato chunks and two slices of bacon were deep fried. I would give a zero on the presentation, although it was edible. We had higher expectations for a restaurant attached to a Hilton, even when having a basic breakfast.

We arrived for our reservation and were told the table wasn’t yet ready. As we waited for about a half hour we noticed it was because the table we were waiting for was still covered in dirty dishes and waiting a long time for their credit cards to be taken. If you know you have another party coming in, you should be taking care of turning that table over. The hostess finally had to take care of their payment and clean the table. The only other person we saw was a busser, I believe, who was clearing the table a couple glasses at a time with no tray. When we finally sat down, we waited at least a half hour with not one acknowledgment from any server or employee. We finally got up and left. A manager was nowhere to be found. As we walked back to our hotel to try to find a place to eat for our large party at 9:30pm, the manager called and asked us to come back and she would ensure we were well taken care of. We declined. You can tell when a restaurant is either poorly staffed or poorly run and this appeared to be both. The only person who was working hard to take care of customers was the hostess who was very apologetic. I do not recommend this place when there are so many other good restaurants in the city.

Family stop by for Sunday Bruch on the way to the Christmas Market. My son really enjoyed his chicken and waffles with hot sauce. My wife’s breakfast sandwich was good but not great, a little over priced ($15.00) for what it was. Finally my smoked salmon bagel was good with the potential to be great. The salmon was fresh and delicious especially with the pickled onions. However, when you have to open your bagel to confirm whether it was toasted and if cream cheese was on it, the answer is self evident. My wife and I got breakfast potatoes which were not greasy and definitely delicious . The server did a good job of keeping us happy and was attentive of our needs.
