Recently moved to Pitt for school and kept walking by this cafe, looked interesting and had a lot of my favorite Taiwanese dishes, so I thought I'd give it a try. I got the fried pork chop over rice, eggplant w/ basil, and sauteed green beans. Wow... the comfort that Taiwanese food brings me? This hit the spot!
And I found a surprise when I started eating my pork chop rice, it came w/ a small serving of braise pork underneath and a tea egg, which basically was the bowtie on top of a fantastic meal!
Portions are fairly big too, I have enough leftovers for a meal or two~ Will definitely be going back to try more dishes!

Got a bubble tea that was delicious and half the price of another place nearby that didn’t accept cash.

The order for pickup was over 30 minutes late, costing an hour of wages as a delivery driver. Not cool, the order was placed 25 minutes before pick up time and the staff was rude claiming first that it was the wrong store and then that they didn’t have an order. The store should not participate in Grubhub if they can’t handle it.

My favorite restaurant in Allegheny county, I absolutely love their Taiwanese Chunk Chicken and they make the best Chinese hot peppers and sliced beef!

I work in the area. I usually bring my own lunch but didn't today so this was my first time trying. All I wanted was beef and broccoli lo mein. Which is exactly what I ordered but didn't get. I got something completely different and that's fine because stuff like that happens a lot. I immediately took it back, and politely told them that my order was wrong, hoping to just get what I ordered replaced. The 1 star is for the gentlemen demeaning me, telling me that I didn't order broccoli with my beef lol mein! And he was way more upset than I was. I just left ... and threw out 15$ worth of something i didn't order.

This restaurant is GOATED. If only CMU had an agreement to let students use Flex here. My top picks: Taiwanese sausage or fried chicken over rice.

Ordered fried chicken over rice and the rice came with ground pork mixed in it. As someone who doesn’t eat pork, I couldn’t stand the smell and had to throw it away. Pork was nowhere in the description of the item I ordered!

A favorite of East Asians at CMU but also delicious for a white boy like me. I like the Kimchi Tofu Hotpot.

We get take-out almost once a week. The flavors are great. Ingredients are fresh, and it feels healthy, too. We have our favorites, but we often try a new dish, and we have never been disappointed. They do a really responsible job dealing with allergens.

Literally the best place for boba. I come here every time I crave boba and it never disappoints. I get the passionfruit tea, which even has the little crunchy bits! I also love the way they make it, cuz I take a long time to finish my drinks, so I get no ice. This wonderful shop, instead of giving me lukewarm tea, shakes it with the ice, and then strains it out. Place is literal gold, 10 stars
