I was passing Pittsburgh and wanted to try Nepali food
I have order jhol momo, chicken sekuwa and veg fried rice.
The momos are good but in the name of Nepali chicken sekuwa they are selling INDIAN TANDOORI CHICKEN. Felt disgusting and called the restaurant about it but the response from them was very poor. And the number provided by the restaurant reception to send the pictures of the food, was already discounted number.
Experience was devastating….
I request the restaurant management atleast to guide the staff to take the feedback felicitously.

No taste, no flavor , very much disappointed . Oily Briyani , nutty rice, a lot to improve

My friend and I ordered quite few dishes to share. Loved every single thing we got 😋 chicken was juicy. So much flavor. Anyone commenting about poor service is too needy. It’s a small place, if you need something there is someone in an earshot reach at all times.

A Little late on this review but here it is.
This place was a nice change of pace from your usual Indian/Himalayan food. The food was very good, both in flavor, temperature and spice. The only reason why I gave Service a 4 star is because you kinda have to figure out whether you go up to pay or they come to you, plus refills are eh. However, not the most concerning. that aside, very good food and atmosphere.

We went here for dinner last night. We were really surprised by how good the food was. I got the lamb curry with rice and garlic naan and beer. My partner got the butter chicken with rice and naan and a mango lassi. It was all delicious and we will definitely be going back. Our server was nice and kind. The ambiance is comfortable, albeit not really Indian, but that doesn’t matter so much. The prices are pretty good too, even for the beer.

Great food, very authentic.
The server was nice.

The excellent food more than made up for the dingy atmosphere.

Legendary Napali spot. Anyone who says it's bad is just a dumb white person. Genuinely one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh

Not the place to go if you want a fancy dining ✨️experience,✨️ but the food is excellent and very affordable. My thupka (spicy noodle soup with chicken and vegetables) was delicious.

Update: on a separate visit, I got the chicken and vegetable momo (dumplings). They weren't very good. They came out lukewarm even though the place was practically empty, they were kind of rubbery, and they weren't flavorful at all. I think they might have been cheap, frozen dumplings.
Given that it wasn't busy, I'm inclined to think the cook just didn't care. Which suggests management doesn't care, and also that they're not paying a high enough wage to hire good cooks.

This is a hidden gem! Everything was perfection and the service was great! The butter naan was delicious, as was the momo, vindaloo, and biryani chicken. The yogurt sauce on the biryani was incredible - super fresh and light! We are excited to introduce this food to our friends and family.

Ordered take out on door dash for the first time tonight. Ended up with more than enough food for two of us plus packed leftovers for my lunch tomorrow. We ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, extra rice, and vegetable momo. BEST butter chicken I’ve ever had, the naan was perfectly textured, and the momos were a nice appetizer. and the whole lot was under $35, delivery and all! I have no idea how authentic anything is, but I know other Indian takeout I’ve tried has been dry, bland, and rubbery. Not to mention expensive. None of the in right here - I will be ordering again!

Aloo paratha has very thick dough and has less stuffing. Dal tadka didn’t come with complimentary rice even when it was selected when placing the order on Uber Eats. Separate rice was added, so I expected two boxes of rice. Samosas taste good but are small in size for the cost.

It’s a really cute bar with a good atmosphere, got a pool table and a slot or two for something to do. Haven’t tried the food but the staff was super friendly 🙂

I have seen this place for a while but had never been until last night for dinner. There were 10-12 people spread between the bar and two tables at the time of our arrival. Needless to say, we ordered our food before 8 PM and our food did not arrive until after 9.
Here's what I can say about the quality of the food. The chicken and shrimp biryani looked nice at the surface level, but it tasted like raw rice with various spices mixed to mask the lack of cooking skills. However, the effort put into preparation is admirable since they forgot to boil a cup a tea in the process.

My take: If you want good service, good food, and good environment then go anywhere else except this place. The only thing they have going nice here is a small selection of liquor in an empty bar and a semi decent pool table.
