Gosh. All this time the best pepper steak hogie was around the corner from me. Lol. Drive by this establishment all the time and never paid attention to what was there. Goggle "steak hogie near me" and this place popped up. I said " i got nothing to lose" and i was right. I dint loose anything instead i gained some happiness. Great prices. Pros: Excellent Italian sub, great for a quick lunch in Swissvale. No cons. You get a lot of bread for your sandwich, but that’s par for the course with a real Italian sub. If you want gourmet, go somewhere else.
I have been eating Rudy's Original Steak and Cheese subs for over 25 years. I moved to Beaver County 11 years ago and it's taken me that long to find any Steak sub that comes close to Rudy's.......I am excited to be in the area tomorrow and will having one of Rudy's subs for lunch tomorrow!
