With no hesitation, this is the greatest dive bar to grace the earth. Delicious food with the kitchen open late, great specials and great drink prices, staff and general atmosphere are second to none.
My wife and I drove from Chicago and got in around 10 on Friday night. Starving. Walked to a bar near the hotel. Their kitchen closed at 10 a they suggested Ruggers. It’s on a dark, deserted street. Hmm. Cheesecake Factory is nearby. Nah. Can’t beat a good dive. Sat at the bar and were greeted by Molly and her great smile. She hooked us up with all the stuff my doctor doesn’t want me to eat. One of my favorite dive bars in Pittsburgh, very cozy and chill atmosphere. Great beer selection, gotta love me a cold Guinness! Food is really good, one of my favorite spots to grab chicken wings. It’s a win-win when you can find everything in a single place; a cold Guinness, great chicken wings, fair prices, great service and a jukebox!
