My husband and I always love going to Ruth's Chris, especially the one in Pittsburgh, which has the most amazing pork chop on their menu. We know the food will be good and the service will be wonderful as well. They always make us feel welcome. Our server, Kennedy, was very pleasant and accommodating. All and all a great evening.

Great service but very lackluster food. Not even close to similar places. I thought Ruth’s Chris was the top of these luxury chain steakhouses, but perhaps that day has passed. When spending so much, you expect the food to be great, not mediocre. Steak was bland. Lobster Mac, usually a highlight at most places, tasted like it came out of a box. Very little cheese flavor. Overall disappointed but since the service was good I’m not mad I went.

Food served on hot plates! Don’t come starving because you’ll burn your mouth unless you let your food cool for like 10 minutes. Friendly service and our waiter was well knowledgeable of the menu. Reimbursed for our parking in the garage. Parking was the biggest issue for us. We were a few minutes late for our reservations but they were fine about it. We ultimately felt very welcomed for our first time there. Food was delicious and the sides are served family style (shareable sizes). Sweet potato casserole was my favorite!! My boyfriend got to pick an array of knives to cut his steak with. Bathrooms are immaculate. We made reservations the night before via their site and it was very easy to do. They called us the day of to reconfirm our reservations. Totally random but if you’re a people watcher, ask to sit by the windows.

We had the absolute BEST dinner here to celebrate a birthday, and our server Anna made the evening unforgettable! She was warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel special.
We ordered the 8oz Petite Filet with Mashed Potatoes, it was perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and so buttery and flavorful. The Maryland Crab Cakes with Lobster Tail were equally outstanding – fresh, rich, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite tasted luxurious.
For dessert, we indulged in the cheesecake, the decadent chocolate cake, and a beautiful birthday dessert that made the celebration extra special. Each one was heavenly!
From start to finish, everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served with genuine care. This was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you, Anna, and thank you Ruth’s Chris Pittsburgh, for making our night so memorable!

The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was really lacking. The table next to us was playing videos that we could clearly hear for a large chunk of their meal. I also thought the service was slow taking into account how busy they were (there could be reasons why that I don’t know). The waiters/waitresses were very pleasant.
