We come here regularly and we *only* ever come here by bike , but the owners are opposing traffic calming and bike lanes on Penn Ave. I'm not coming back until they drop their opposition.

Best pierogies I’ve ever had! They were so good I didn’t even take a picture before I ate them all. Great kielbasa too. Highly recommend!

Nothing really that bad or great here. The food was ok, nothing really stood out. I know freezing items are a necessary evil, but it really takes away something flavor wise, to cuisine such as this. I would still recommend though.

Went in for their famous pierogis. It’s a self serve grab and go supermarket.
Got their potato’s & spinach pierogi. Taste was very average for the price charged.

Very well kept little place with a huge selection of polish snacks, jarred foods, and desserts. I had pierogi and haluski which were both ridiculously good and also reasonably priced. The staff were very warm and appreciative of our business and I just can’t recommend this place highly enough.

When you need a fix of your favorite Polish dish, S&D has you covered. We went with a dozen potato and cheddar pierogi ($16.99) and a link of the Jalowcowa Keilbasa ($15.99).

Others that we've tried in the past include bith the Pittsburgh Haluszki ($5.49) and the Polish Haluszki ($6.49). A side of the Potato Pancakes are ($13.99).

There is a deli, dry goods, and more prepared foods in individual or party sizes.

I often go here to buy kielbasa as it's by far the best I've found in the Pittsburgh area. I haven't tried much else, with the exception of the klabos. Check them out! Follow for more ...

A gem. It’s really a market with limited seating, but you can find all you need to eat there. The pierogi were incredible, one of the best textures I’ve had. The haluski comes in different varieties but all good. Also an amazing desert section.
