Tucked into the morning hum of downtown Pittsburgh, Sally Ann’s serves up a breakfast sandwich that didn’t scream for attention, it earned it. The bacon was the kind that makes you reevaluate every strip you’ve ever had: thick, smoky, unapologetically rich, with a perfect chew that stayed with you. The egg, light as air, played its part without ego, while the supple, buttery bun held it all like it knew it was part of something special. A crunch of gem lettuce brought life, and the pepper jam... sweet heat with a whisper of smoke, pulled the whole thing into focus.

I do believe that was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Pictures don't do it justice.

Ended up at Sally’s after a Lyft ride from PIT airport. The avocado toast was tremendous. The coffee was good. The only slight issue was the 15 minutes I had to wait, after being sat, for a server to come by. From that point on the service was good and the server was friendly. I would definitely go back the next time I’m in Pittsburgh.

Grabbed brunch here before the Pirates game and absolutely hit the spot. Was shocked that it wasn't overly packed. The food was high quality and the portions were good. There were creative options bit also plenty of the staples. Loved the atmosphere and couldn't have asked for anything more. TVs in the booths were a plus. Can't wait to go back!

I’m leaving this review as I sit at my table at Sally Ann’s. I have been here for over an hour and have nothing but a glass of water on my table. Took over 30 min for anyone to come to the table for the first time. Ive been here so long even my oura ring is telling me to get up and stretch my legs. I could have raised a chicken and cooked my own eggs by now. But at least I have some room temp tap water with no ice.

I went back to back days during a baseball trip. On my first day, I had the Sally Ann Special. The next day I had the avocado toast. Both were very good.

Food was fabulous, service was amazing….beer was cold. Definitely give them a try. This will be stop every trip to the city! The Pittsburgh Nasty had the best fried chicken we have had! The Egg Ric Mugfin was huge and perfect with the “dippy egg” and house made c Canadian bacon! We dig in too quickly to get picture!

Sally Ann’s is a cute breakfast/brunch restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we received a warming welcome and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself offered various seating options, outdoor patio style seating, an open bar seating overlooking the street, beautiful bar seating and cool little booth styled seating with their own individual televisions. The bathroom was really interestingly designed too! The place overall has a beautiful aesthetic.

I ended up ordering the Sally Ann’s breakfast and it was delicious. I loved the homemade hash browns! I also enjoyed the strawberry jam on the toast. This place was delicious and I’m glad I chose to stop in here for breakfast! Definitely give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Sally Ann's truly shines with its incredible flavors, earning a solid four stars despite a slightly limited menu. While the array of options might be modest, every single creation I tried was absolutely amazing. The potatoes, in particular, were a standout – I highly, highly recommend them!
Beyond the fantastic food, I absolutely love how Sally Ann's beautifully preserves some of the best moments in history within its decor, creating a unique and charming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly nice, adding to the welcoming experience, and the seating options available were incredibly varied, offering everything from cozy booths to spacious tables, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Just a heads-up: if you're driving, the parking situation isn't ideal, so be prepared for a bit of a search. Nevertheless, if you're looking for fantastic taste and a wonderful ambiance, Sally Ann's is a must-visit!

The location and hours of operation make this a solid place to get breakfast. I got the breakfast sandwich and found it difficult to eat because of the egg texture that caused it to keep falling out of the sandwich. The interior was very eclectic which went well with the theme. Wish they would let you order from the entire menu and not have some items restricted by time. Would have loved the breakfast/brunch burger. The time restricted menu is a big reason for the star rating. Would cautiously recommend this restaurant.

Stopped here for breakfast and I’m glad we did! Great service even on a busy morning and the french toast was divine.

I had the Sausage Breakfast Biscuit, and the food was pretty badly cooked. The potatoes were charred to the point of being inedible, and the sausage patty was quite a lot pinker than I am comfortable with for pork (see photos). The biscuit and pimento cheese were delightful though.
