Looking for old style hand thrown and cooked pizza, then here you go. Delicious sauce, crust cooked to perfection and served with a little Italian flavor from Tony. Stop by and experience why so many others are enjoying the great taste of Sanremo’s Pizza. Sanremo’s also has a second floor where you can hold an event, office party or just a good ole celebration. There is a full service bar where can enjoy a cold beer or your special cocktail while you wait.

Just a short walk from the river and totally worth the stop. I’m super picky when it comes to pizza, especially the dough and wow, this one blew me away. Perfectly chewy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

5 stars! I’m no Dave Portnoy, but Sanremo’s Pizza & Bar, with 50 years of experience, turned me into a drooling pizza prophet—best pizza ever! The crust was so flawless I nearly proposed, the sauce danced like a salsa champ, and the cheese melted into glory that made me weep like a lost toddler! Their half-century of skill shines brighter than my greasy forehead. Pizza perfection!

First-time customer, ordered multiple pepperoni and sausage on classic rounds for an employee appreciation event, and Sanremo’s did not disappoint! Tony was great. He had all the pizzas ready on time and even had time to throw in a last-minute request from one of the staff for a cheese only pie, which he accommodated with ease. The sausage (which staff said is homemade) and pepperoni was a winning combination! Looking forward to trying more of the sure to be delicious menu options on return visits in the future. Definitely recommend Sanremo’s to anyone working in the downtown PGH area - only a three or four minute walk from Market Square.

Excellent local pizza joint. Most of the folks here were regulars, and we could understand why! The red sauce for the pizza was some of the best I've had, and the crust is that perfect balance of soft and crispy. It definitely hit the spot!
I visited from Philly, just wanted a quick lunch. The Sicilian slices were made right away when ordered and were very good. The people there were friendly to speak with.
I would recommend eating there and I would go again when in Pittsburgh.

Driving through Pittsburg and wanted an authentic non-chain place to eat. Looked on Yelp and Sanremo's was 5 stars and loved the picture of the building it was in. It definitely delivered and then some. The owner, Tony, was delightful, gave great customer service and prepared absolutely and perfectly cooked pizza. We took a pie and hoagies to go and they were just as delicious! Tony recommended the Iron City beer native to Pittsburg and it was great! Don't let the construction across the street keep you from going. You will not regret it!
