If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I placed an order through Uber Eats, waited 1.5 hours and then the order got cancelled without reason. I called this joke of an establishment, spoke with someone who yelled at me and told me “we’re busy.” They clearly knew who I was. Mrs. Chang who is apparently the owner was in the background yelling we’re too busy, but they waited an 1.5 hours to cancel my $130 order. I have two children at home starving waiting for dinner and she wouldn’t even get on the phone to talk to me. You should be ashamed of yourself doing this to a family with young kids

I have been Sapporo numerous times and they are on point every single time! The chef and his wife are fantastic and kind people who really care about their quality of food and service. It is always a joy to see them. No matter what meat or seafood we have ordered, it is cooked perfectly every time! I highly recommend their scallops and steak! When you get their hibachi, definitely opt in for the fried rice.They are also very accommodating for food allergens. When a person in our party could not have food prepared by scallops, they were kind enough to prepare their food in the back and everything came out the same time as ours. Sapporo is a gem and I love to support them!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for food allergies.
This is our 2nd time trying to come here and got turned away both times, the lady didn't tell us the 1st time to make a reservation but this time she did. She turned away a couple other people also. We won't be trying to come here again.

We were in the area for a Pittsburgh Penguins game, but we're from Northwest Ohio. This was the BEST hibachi place we've ever eaten at! The owners took great care of us and they are so proud of their restaurant and 29 years in business. I wish we lived closer so that we could become regulars!

Sapporo Japanese Steak House has been a part of my family since my children were young. Great restaurant..great atmosphere..great family owners. Even tho I live in another state now.. when I visit Pittsburgh..I stop pass Sapporo for a good meal and see the owners.

We LOVED our dinner at Sapporo! The restaurant is ran by the nicest people who made our evening very special. The hibachi was the best I've ever had and I can't wait to bring more people to try it out. The location of this restaurant is in a weird spot, the area is kind of run down and not super inviting so I feel like people may pass on giving this place a try - but I wish that wasn't the case because it was a fantastic restaurant. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

We came in for our son's birthday and had a good experience all in all. I'd choose this hibachi over the chain restaurants for sure. The food was good, although all of our chicken dishes were slightly overcooked. We all agreed that we would go back though. Good food, good service. Restaurant furnishings are a little outdated and space could use some updates.
