We were allowed to make the reservation on OpenTable and received a confirmation, but when we got there we were told Scarpino has been out of business for months. (We live out of town.) There is now a pop up bar in this location.

Shame on you open table. The app let us booke dinner reservations on 6/16 5pm. We arrived only to find that the restaurant was temporarily closed. Ruined a birthday/Father's Day as we had no options for dinner due to it being Father's Day.

The restaurant is closed, likely out of business. Why does your platform even list it as an option to reserve a table at?

Really good food and excellent service but the number of homeless in the area, some of whom were using the restaurants outdoor tables and indoor restroom, made dining there uncomfortable for us. Not the restaurant's fault but they could discontinue outdoor seating and the garage door-style door near the restrooms. A homeless woman was sitting at one of the tables picking her nose right in our line of vision, a server took her some napkins. Again, these are problems bigger than the restaurant. Delicious food and excellent service.

What a wonderful find. The meals, the staff, the evening was wonderful. I had a salad with the wonderful meatballs as a side, my son had the rigatoni a la vodka and my hubby enjoyed the cacao Pepe with shrimp and everything was marvelous. Definitely will return on a future trip to this cute city.

We loved the open doors and sat almost outside in a beautiful evening watching bike riders and walkers go by The food was very good, the service excellent but it took a while between courses

I typically go to this restaurant every time I'm in town on business but after my last experience I will no longer be dining. Usually the service is super friendly, very welcoming, but when I sat at the bar, the bartender rolled her eyes when I asked for a water and rudely asked if I "made up my mind yet " on what to drink . It felt like I was inconveniencing her for asking questions about menu items and wine pairings , which she had little to no logic on . However, I know the food was always a 10 /10 so I didn't let it get to me. Sadly, when I received my meal, the pasta was inedible. There was little to no sauce, and had no flavor. I kindly asked if I could just speak to a manager just to inform them so future guests don't have the same problem. After 15 minutes the manager comes over reeking of marijuana. It seemed like he just wanted me to stop talking and kept saying "will take it off your bill " instead of hearing a suggestion from a customer who has been here multiple times and knows how great the food can be. Overall, I would say this is a place to skip. I truly am disappointed and sad to see how a great spot like this can go downhill so quick.

This was a brutal experience. Staff could not handle the crowd and began to fight amongst themselves. Kitchen was running out of food. How do you run out of margarita pizza, there are 3 ingredients. They brought our appetizers and 10 minutes later the silverware showed up. Appetizers were O K but nothing to want me to order them again. We’ll that won’t be a problem because they do not deserve a second chance. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and we should have left and gone somewhere else.

Ordered two pepperoni pizzas to go. Got to my room only to find that they were undercooked, the dough still soft, and that it the pepperoni was placed in small chunks that left uncooked. At $16 a box, this was not even edible.

Absolutely the worst experience…should be a zero. I get being short staffed but to seat us and never tend to our table is unacceptable, especially considering several tables of our size or larger, who came in after us, were served.Addressed it with the hostess multiple times to no avail. Upon decision to leave the manager came over to blame a server for not knowing we were his table. Ridiculous!

They couldn't find our reservation on their system. We could tell they are understaffed, everybody was very stressed out. Our server was very very rude. We ordered some appetizersto share and the side plate we got was the size of an espresso cup saucer (no joking).
