Shartz is not the ideal place for restaurants in my opinion because they lie on their menu (Say omelette bar everyday but half of time i go there is not.) Some cooked food they offer have bad cooking(it's not hard to cook a bacon, never once have I taste a bacon here that is not toooo dry, and it felt like it is intentional made to be dry so people eat less of it)..

I’ve been here twice and genuinely think this is one of the best spots to spend a block on. I’ve only come for breakfast, but each time they’ve had eggs, potatoes, taters, fresh fruit, omelets, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and several other options. You get full control over the portion size and can eat literally as much as you want, so I highly recommend coming here when you’re hungry.

Cheap ($8.99) all you can eat college buffet. They have birgers, hot dogs, vegetable bar and fruits. Drinks, pudding and ice cream are also included. Great option at this price.

Great affordable dining option for students. Really nice atmosphere and a great place to study, but it does get crowded sometimes.

I was eating in Schatz when I noticed two magnets in my broccoli and then mold on my salad tomatoes. I am very concerned with my safety and the safety of others consuming this food. This level of quality is unacceptable. From,A concerned costumer

Food ok but some staff are rude and have no work ethics. Went there two times and got yelled by the same guy because I wasn't familiar with the menu. With labor shortage going on i guess they'll just grab whoever's available on the street without proper screening or training. Not coming back until they correct this.

Its decent not wonderful no issues with the food other than somewhat bland, but i will definately be back just for all the amazingly hilarious puns i can come up with due to the hilariously unfortunate name of the schats buffet
The food was very good and it was open which was a good thing.

Very disappointed. It's been my favorite place before pandemics, so I was very excited to see it open again. But now, sadly, it's the worst as for food quality as well as by staff. For breakfasts, even though they don't serve omelets, yogurts with berries, bagels anymore, and there is no COFFEE, they just left the same price. For lunch, they don't serve desserts anymore (it was my favorite part, I have tried the best bread pudding in my life there), but the price is the same. Finally, for dinner, there are no fruits, juices, cakes, and waffle-making machines anymore. The quality of main dishes is dropped drastically, as new stuff attitude; I was screamed just for ordering a salad, by telling ingredients one by one *_*/ (to keep it fair, they probably (hopefully) needed that information to calculate portions of each ingredient)
Great value and delicious food!
