First time trying this place but definitely won’t be the last. Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was hot and fresh and the prices are very reasonable. Probably one of the best Sicilian pizzas I’ve had. The staff was super friendly too!

Sciulli’s pizza is a hidden gem in the city. Their pizzas are delicious, regardless of whether they’re plain, with toppings, or single Sicilian cuts. Oh, by the way, hoagies are great as well. The service and atmosphere are excellent as they go above and beyond for their customers. It’s a must-go!

Perfect place. Manicotti was excellent. Check the chalkboard! High quality food at excellent prices in exceptional atmosphere, friendly neighborly staff. Somehow a full bar? Will be back with friends. This is the kind of place that makes me love Pittsburgh so much :)
The chicken sandwich is delicious, the chicken is fresh as well the vegetables and salad, everything is fresh. And, the environment is pleasant.

In an economy still tainted by inflation, it’s relieving and beyond refreshing to buy pizza at a reasonable price. Almost every item on the menu is under $10, including every non-pizza item, of which there are at least a dozen. I’m glad to have this place on my corner.

Wonderful local pizzeria run by a friendly pizzaiolo who surely knows both how to make pizzas taste good, and how to make people feel welcome.
It is fair to say that this guy single-handedly[*] saved our dinner, by letting us in when he was clearly about to close the store. While preparing the order, he pleasantly kept chatting with us, asking questions about our visit in Pittsburgh and sharing some stories related to his family origins. The pizza, which got ready in no time, was by far the most delicious we tried during our stay: excellent dough, ingredients treated with respect, and a quick, to-the-spot high-temperature baking (as it should be). When we were about to leave, the guy even started offering things, and we literally had to stop him from being so kind to us.
Small shops like this one are not there just to save your lunch breaks or pizza nights (sure, they do that as well). They actually turn a neighbourhood into a warm and welcoming community, helping to preserve the city as a place worth living in. Cherish such things, other than the pepperoni slices: next time you are nearby and about to make a poor pizza choice--think again, and go treat yourself with a pizza from Sciulli's.
