Stop in at lunchtime on Friday. No wait. You order at the counter and then can seat yourself in the weird bank slash ax throwing room. The food was great. I got the birria tacos good flavor. The broth was a little too spicey for me, but it was a good flavor. The tacos had plenty of meat. My partner got the polo plate with red beans rice with peas and Yuka fries. The meat was so tender with great flavor. The yuka fries were crunchy and just good! Red beans were spotted in with amazing flavor. Overall, this placed rocked!

My first time trying certain Puerto Rican food. The best Tostones I’ve ever had!! Mofongo has lived up to its hype. The rice and peas were comforting. My stew was perfect for a cold winter night. ¡Gracias por dejarme practicar mi español!

This is my first time here and we will be returning. I had the Flava Bowl with Pernil, red beans and yellow rice. My son had the Pollo a la Plancha, maduros, mofongo and white rice. Everything was really good!!

The food is definitely not authentic Puerto Rican food. Beef meat is dry and bland. Pernil meat tastes like reheated. The mofongo is on the sweet side, which means they are not using green plantains to make it. The rice with pigeon peas is made with canned products and you can hardly find any pigeon peas in the rice. The color is not yellow (if made correctly with saffron) but brownish. They yucca fries are soggy. Food is not definitely not fresh neither... Chicken empanadas are super salty! In addition, we order beef rellenitos and they gave us chicken rellenitos.
Not buying anything from them anymore. It was a waste of time and money. Prices are also ridiculously high for the portions served. Un asalto a mano armada!

Amazing food. Great seasoning, good texture, and good flavor combination. Way better than the gentrified slop of Chipotle. Although, I'm confused as to why such a good food spot is in a bank? No matter. The food bangs.
