Amazing egg drop soup, chow fun and cashew chicken! We left nothing

Atmosphere is what is expected from a family owned restaurant, but really cool mural on the wall

This place is a 5-star in my book!

The chicken egg roll was delicious—one of the best I’ve had—and a great size, too.

I also enjoyed the orange chicken dinner with fried rice, which was amazing. The portion was generous, with just the right amount of spice. I only ate half and saved the rest for lunch the next day.

Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Ordered their General Tso's Chicken through Grubhub. The food was fantastic. The chicken was extra crispy and the sauce had a good flavor. I so got a pork eggroll which was also delicious.

Do not let the 4.2 star rating fool you. Sesame Garden is fantastic yet affordable and deserves at least a 4.7.

The chicken egg roll - fantastic. Probably the best egg roll I’ve ever had. And trust me… I’ve had Plenty

The dumplings - surprisingly good. Dense, yet the perfect texture for a dumpling

The fried rice - great smoky taste and huge portion for the price. Only $1 to add chicken. Utter bargain

The amazing chicken - better than general tso’s. Truly lived up to its name (haha)

Ordered delivery so this is just about the food.

I had a hankering for American Chinese and this seemed to be popular. I live in Squirrel Hill where we have ridiculously amazing Chinese Chinese, so I was almost embarrassed to order this, but there is no good lo mein here so what the heck.

The family style tofu was very bland with a syrupy sauce. What little flavor there was was almost ... fishy? Pickly? I don't even know, but it was totally inedible. I threw it away.

Egg roll was crunchy but not very flavorful.

Lo mein had that smoky/wok hei flavor which is I've been craving, but the noodles were a little gummy and the toppings almost non-existent. I ordered the vegetable and there was one baby corn, one snow pea, 2-3 thin strips of carrot and a couple pieces of carrot. This is something I would order again if I were willing to add my own toppings, but alas, this defeats the purpose of delivery.
