Sesame Inn Mt. Lebanon

Every time we go we enjoy whatever dinner or Luncheon we choose to go with the hardest part is choosing which one we want to eat because every single dinner is large in size and and very Tasty so it’s up for grabs on the choose of food but I must say general Tso jumbo shrimp is delicious along with happy delight and Crab Rangoon is most definitely our favorite appetizer

First time at the new location and unfortunately had a less than pleasant experience. First the booth that we were seated at must have been above something like a compressor in the basement because the entire booth and table was constantly vibrating. Not very pleasant to eat dinner with that happening. Asked the waitress and she just said not to worry, it was the basement. Then noticed they have started using loud rolling carts to bring food, take food outside for orders and clean up. Loud and unsanitary. Waitress barely waited on us at all because she was too busy rolling the cart outside for order pick ups. Sat there quite a while with no water and no bill. Then when we asked for boxes all of the sudden two servers decided to take our food in the back to box even though I watched them pack up food at other tables in front of the customers. After waiting too long for our packed food and seeing the server going outside more times and taking orders we were pretty impatient. Then the aggressive payment and tip process began. One woman even Pointed out to us where to fill in the tip and hovered several times trying to take the bill from us. Not the Sesame Inn experience that I remember from past years. Very disappointing.

We enjoyed our meal. It was tasty and a fair price. Waiter didn't smother, didn't forget about us. Good service. The timing was excellent. No complaints.

First time for me at the new location across the street. Much more open and appealing environment. Fantastic food. It's a classic and a staple when returning to Pittsburgh. We had a great family dinner here.

The food was really tasty and the staff were very accommodating. I wouldn't order the cocktails again, and found the dining room kind of echoey.

I have enjoyed the excellent food at Sesami Inn for several years—-my favorite being beef and broccoli. Today, I ordered take out beef and broccoli and was very disappointed that the broccoli was very undercooked, actually difficult to cut with a knife. When I contacted the restaurant in order to express my concern, I was told that the manager was not in and that it was my fault for not specifying that I wanted the broccoli well done—even though I have not done this on previous orders which were all fine. Very disappointing! I was hoping for a more, friendly customer response!!

Seems to be going downhill fast:( sad to say. My shrimp and eggplant last time I was there I couldn't even finish it bc the sauce was so weird and strong.
Today, the amazing chicken looked like mall food court food chunks of chicken I couldn't tell if all white meat and it was sweet like candy ...yuk. amazing chicken used to be clear cut pieces of white meat, lightly battered and crisp. It has so much breading on it ..not good.

Food was delicious and the service was top notch.

I just got general TSO's chicken & it was RAW!! this place used to be great, what happened?!

Anyone ordering food from here should most definitely reconsider. This place isn’t what it used to be, The Food, Service & Atmosphere has all went down hill. I was charged triple price for one meal so don’t be surprised of pending transactions after you use your card here because obviously this establishment is ok with scheming.

I recently visited your restaurant and unfortunately had an unpleasant experience with one of your staff members. The individual in question was a middle-aged woman with short hair, who displayed noticeably rude and unprofessional behavior.

Her attitude was unfriendly and dismissive, and she made no effort to communicate politely or provide basic customer service. As a customer, I believe respectful and courteous interaction should be standard in any service setting.

I hope you will look into this matter and take the necessary steps to ensure that future experiences reflect the quality and hospitality your establishment aims to provide.
