We had a delicious seven course prix fixe menu at a winery dinner here. It was enjoyable with friendly service. It is rather loud when the restaurant is full as it was on the night we were there

Unbelievably the worst service I have ever had! Had reservations had to wait 50 minutes to sit down. Once we sat down we waited another 25 minutes to order a drink. Ask if we could order dinner and nobody came back for another 25 minutes! We did order but ended up walking out because the owner's son was such an jerk to us! Super bad attitude said that's fine. You guys can leave. We'll fill your table! We used to go when it was the old bella rias always had great service in the food was always great! I don't think this young punk should be running this place. He is running it to the ground!

Really great desserts- food is good but always super slow.
Absolute gem in the neighborhood of West View, just 10 minutes north of Pittsburgh. Coffee offerings are on point and pastries are made fresh in house daily 😍. Pastas, pizza all delicious and the kitchen executes your meal beautifully.

I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were an afterthought. It took far too long to be acknowledged, and when we finally did get service, the staff seemed rushed and disengaged. Our food arrived late it might not be late due to restaurant being busy that being said it took 45 minutes and we did not have knife on the table, it is a small detail but I was not asked by anyone if I needed anything else . I totally get that if it is so busy but it would not hurt to ask that , that would only take less than a minute.
Good service can make up for a lot, but here it was consistently lacking and left a bad impression. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Went on a Saturday evening. It was very busy. Not sure if they were short-staffed but everyone seemed to be pulling double duty. Everyone was super friendly and working hard though to make it a pleasurable experience. Made a reservation for 630, didn't get seated until 7p. Got drinks and placed our order. We didn't know going in but Severina DOES NOT make pizza and calzone at dinner. That is their lunch menu. That said, we had to pivot a bit and each of us got an entree. It took about 30 minutes to get a salad (which was small, simple and tasty) and bread. It took another 40 for the entrees to come out. The pasta was homemade pappardalle with a nice bolognese. It was very light and flavorful, but filling. Not too much food, but just the right amount. The roasted red pepper pasta was a well made dish as well. Finished the evening with desserts, what we wanted they were out of, but the pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate almond torte we did get were delicious. Overall we had a very nice dinner and the vibe here was great. Will definitely be heading back to try the pizza and calzones. It's a great addition to West View.

It was extremely busy and even with a reservation we still waited 1/2 hour until we got a table. Once we ordered it was another 1 1/2 hours until we got our food. Was a little disappointed you could only get the pizza and calzone at lunch but pasta was very good.We got pasta Bolognese and red pepper pasta. Would go back but maybe during the week. Our server was great. She was working hard basically running all over the restaurant. Definitely did not have enough help.

The food is awesome. Generally, you need reservations. And even with those, you will probably wait a little bit on arriving. The inside restaurant can be rather loud.
But, the food is worth it.

This place is a GEM!! I started coming here when they first opened and weren’t even a full restaurant yet, and all they have done is create this place into such an awesome restaurant! I’ve only had a handful of their dinner options, and every single one has been delicious, and I can’t wait to try more. But let me tell you something…… Their desserts…. OOOF SO GOOD!!! And this is coming from a person who rarely eats sweets/sugar. Anything pistachio, insanely good! Any mascarpone cake, mouthwatering! And let’s talk about the person who beautifully designs all these cakes, pastries, etc. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Hats off the the chef/cooks because you’re rocking with how hard you work. Food is delicious and really aesthetically pleasing too😍
They do a fantastic job and people need to realize they do the BEST they can on the most insanely busy evenings. People who complain clearly are entitled, and never actually worked in the service industry, and it shows.
And the owner is right. If you’re that impatient, go through a drive through with crap food, maybe you’ll find something else to complain about 💁🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
