Me and my friends went to Shiloh Gastro, and what a great experience it was! We started at the bar for a few drinks, the bartender was fun, friendly, and attentive, and the space had such a nice vibe. After a while, we moved out to the patio to enjoy the weather and order food, and it was just as great out there.
Our waitress was excellent, and the food didn’t disappoint either. I had the crab roll, which was delicious, and the fries were perfect. I also tried a bite of my friend’s mac and cheese, sooooo good!
If you’re looking for great vibes, great drinks, and great food, Shiloh Gastro is the spot! Can’t wait to come back!

One word. OUTSTANDING! Fabulous waitress Peyton. Gene the owner took the time to come to our table, introduce himself and tell the story behind the drinks we ordered. The food made our taste buds jump for joy! A must try on Mt. Washington!

I'm writing a review because I went twice to come to this restaurant because I thought it would be very interesting about the history on it.
I thought it was pretty neat but both times my husband and I tried to go they are not opened Very disappointed.
There's no time on the door so you go on the website to make sure what time they are open and that is wrong too very difficult to know when they're open.
Both times we were excited and disappointed because they were closed
Please fix your time so people know when you are opened.
Came on vacation and enjoyed dinner tremendously. It was a quaint, relaxed atmosphere with unique food options. We all enjoyed our meals. Excellent service.

We booked a post wedding brunch here for about 30 people. Eugene was SO easy to work with. The food was amazing, and the prices are so reasonable. Not to mention, the view! Ambiance was great, and everything was very clean.
Highly recommend booking a special event here. Great Pittsburgh food and very attentive waitstaff. Our out of town guests LOVED it.

Better than general bar food. Our group of 14 was able to get a table and quick service. Wouldn't split checks but not biggest deal.

Very rude staff, upon seeing that we were Asian, he made very pointed remarks about “not being able to read English ”. Not sure if all staff are this off putting… but the staff member we interacted with put a sour taste in our mouths. I’m sad to say we had a full meal here. I’m not sure why the restaurant claims we were illegally parking as parking is permitted as long as we bought food (which we did). Not sure if the person responding has their facts straight…

My only experience was visiting the pub, being seated, and ungreeted for roughly 17 minutes. The one woman wait staff member asked if anyone had attended to my friend and I and we said no. Shortly thereafter Michael came by, expressing an apology; it was appreciated, we understand it. Since we had a ton of time to examine the menu, we already knew what we wanted, so we ordered our food, which were two sandwiches. After roughly 50 minutes from ordering, no one had given us an update or asked us how we were doing as we waited for our food. We flagged down one of the wait staff members and told them that we were leaving and that they can cancel our order. An hour and 15 minutes had been wasted on waiting for food that didn't come and with only one interaction with a member of the team at Shiloh Gastro. The staff seemed nice, Michael was kind, but they appeared extremely under staffed. If you are understaffed, cover the tables to provide a service to the people you can seat, don't try and fill as many spaces as possible and offer really poor service. This is a flaw in management. My only experience with this restaurant is if you visit Shiloh Gastro, arrive with a full stomach and bring a movie; you'll make it nearly the entire way through a shorter film by the time you're served and by then you should be hungry.
what a fun find! we stumbled upon this spot after taking the incline. nice food and atmosphere and love the local vibe. we had an excellent spicy red pepper hummus!
