Ordered take out many times and disappointed every time. Both quality and flavor fell short, at least for lunch. Not going to do it anymore nor recommend it to anyone else.

Food came out perfect and quickly. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend their cucumber appetizer and pumpkin pancakes. I would 100% come again.

The food was so delicious and came out piping hot. I recommend the eggplant, cucumbers, and any of the noodles. The atmosphere was super welcoming with karaoke and kind service. Super welcoming with very fair prices. If you’re in Pittsburgh or Squirrel Hill, I highly recommend!!!!

The food is pretty standard Chinese takeout. It was prepared quickly, was tasty, and the portions were generous.

My husband and I came here and enjoyed quite a variety! We had cheese Rangoon and spicy cold noodles for an appetizer. Both were excellent. For dinner we order four different dishes the pork spare rib hot pot, spicy chicken flaming pan, chicken and broccoli from the Pittsburgh favorite menu, and braised beef brisket with bamboo clay pot (forgot to get a picture). My favorite was the chicken and broccoli. It was the best I’ve had around Pittsburgh. My husband loved the pork spare ribs. They were so crispy and flavorful. We had sooo many delicious leftovers to take home. The best part was the prices were very affordable. We spent under $75 for everything.

It's very nice inside, and while the food has good unique flavor, it almost doesn't matter when 70% of your dish is inedible. Its also very spicy so be prepared. I like spicy and after the initial shock you get used to it and get the flavor.

However in the one dish I believe was the chicken flaming pan the chicken was literally all bones and tendons. The other dish was kung pao chicken with odd pieces of chicken with inedible dry pieces of chili pepper and what I would figure are boiled peanuts with an odd texture.

Both dishes had almost no vegetables in them as well, and part of the one I'm pretty sure I tasted soap in it. (Not cilantro, I love cilantro, it did not have it in the dish)

I'd say to try it once as a flavor experience but I could otherwise never recommend this place for anyone who is ordering to actually eat something. I've had food here twice and this was the same both times.

Below is a photo to show how much of the dish was inedible next to its container. That's all bones, tendons, and skin.

A fall from grace.
When I first started going here several years ago, I always had a pleasant experience and spoke highly of this establishment. However, over the last 6-9 months my experience has left much to be desired.

We ordered a wide variety of dishes and appetizers through their very own website - not a third party service mind you. To keep my disgruntlement brief, they had issues properly fulfilling my order.

I ordered rangoons, honey walnut chicken, szechuan chicken and ginger chicken… what I received was a miss-mash of entrees.
I somehow was not charged for the rangoons but instead a type of dumpling (I went back to make sure I selected rangoons, and I did), and did not receive the honey walnut and ginger chicken.
Instead I received 3 szechuan chickens.
I immediately called to notify them of their error and while they were kind enough to refund me my money, the disappointment and ruined Christmas dinner could not be undone.

In an attempt to salvage a ruined holiday meal, I decided to eat one of the szeuchan chickens… the chicken was soggy and soaked in grease. A few bites and I’d had enough for the night.
Not to mention the carry out bag had a spill from a loose container lid.

Now I was disappointed, annoyed and left hungry due to their inattention to detail.

I hope they can get back on track, this establishment used to be one of the best in the city.
However, as they stand now, they are a shell of their former glory.

Terrible service. More concerned about takeout orders than the customers seated. Will not go back. ☹️

I visited last night for the first time in a long time. The food was excellent and so was the service. Classic Sichaun cuisine. The Hot Pots were fantastic.

A great place to bring the family with a great atmosphere. The food was really tasty with lots of flavor. I got the beef hofun and jasmine hot tea. The beef hofun was full of flavor, beef super tender and the noodles cooked perfectly. Jasmine tea was really really good one of the best I've had and I mean that. The service was great very kind and friendly. The food came out fast with very little waiting. There was plenty of seating inside and the atmosphere was great. Menu choices are great with authentic cuisine and american chinese food mixed in as well so lots of variety. I would recommend this to friends and family.
