Siempre Algo was a fantastic experience! The food and service were both excellent and the cocktails were imaginative and delicious.
From the moment you walk in, this place just gets it. The food is consistently, confidently well executed—every dish feels intentional, balanced, and made by people who genuinely care about what they're putting on the plate. Nothing feels overworked or gimmicky; it's simply great food done right, every single time. The staff deserve just as much praise. They're warm and attentive. Service is smooth and thoughtful, the kind that makes you feel welcome rather than managed. Altogether, it's the rare restaurant that delivers on all fronts: excellent food, great people, and an experience that keeps you coming back not out of habit, but because you want to. A true standout and an easy recommendation.
5th visit. Great service as usual. Cabbage main, which we've had before, had great flavor, but was pretty unmanageable texture wise compared to previous visits. The short rib dish was just way way way, way too heavy, needed something to break up all of that fat. On the positive note, the Chicken main course with some of the best chicken we've ever had I'll chalk it up to an off night. See you soon.
Yeah Kimber! Great bar, wonderful food - waygu steak tartare and short ribs. A very special place
Another wonderful experience. The menu continues to evolve with the seasons. Cod Fritters and Chef Salad to start were exceptional (best salad I've had in years). Entrees were chicken dish and black cod — bothe expertly executed and delicious. Siempre Algo is always a treat — neighborhood gem!
I always search “coolest restaurants” in whichever city we're visiting and Siempre Algo came up in several different blogs. It was out of this world! Great cocktails but I have never seen a more comprehensive list of bourbons in my life. The place is charmingly chic but it's the food that really shines. My duck entrée (with a side of foie gras) was perfectly cooked, my husband's gnocchi with wagyu was out of this world, and our friend's roasted cabbage (she's a vegetarian) was amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat and have no hesitation in highly recommending it.
Stopped by Siempre Algo on a whim as we had just arrived in town after a long day of travel. We were greeted by the Owner and seated without a reservation. Cocktails were spot-on and the appetizers were amazing (both the baguette and the hummus were freshly prepared by the Executive Chef). Main courses were also nicely prepared with great presentation. The best part of the evening was the service provided by Kristin. Very engaging and personable and didn't miss any detail. Very refreshing to have exceptional service. In all, it was an amazing experience - highly recommend!

Truly fine-dining experience without the overblown prices. Not cheap but you get outstanding quality and presentation for the price! Chef Chris and his team are absolutely on point! Their Sirloin and Paella are absolutely worth it and exceptionally tasty... and the sirloin is NOT sour-bided, yet blows a filet out of the water if you ask me!
Great restaurant. Loved the tomato salad, cod and pork shoulder entrees. Homemade vanilla bourbon ice cream was delicious and super generous portion.
Siempre Algo is a nice-casual restaurant that serves dinner. My husband and I ate here once. We really enjoyed our non-alcoholic beverages (although a bar is available), bread, soup, salmon, and creme brulee. My husband thought that his pork should have been cooked longer. The seating hostess and waitress did their jobs very well.

Pre theater dining mid week. They have an extensive bar menu, limited food menu. Had G& T's & found out it was a 1 ounce pour... Loved the brioche with Wagyu & fois gras mousse. Came as 3 pieces. Would suggest an even number for even number of diners at the table. Delicious! We shared a small plate of green & wax beans with Dungeness crab which was delicious but left us wondering where's the crab? We shared the black cod with shrimp large plate which was absolutely fabulous but needed to trust the chef on this one as the cod was extremely lightly cooked. Total bill with tip upwards of $200 so very pricey for a quick meal!
Wonderful meal from beginning to end! My wife and I shared the Duck confit, Wagyu steak and Cabbage dishes. All were exceptional and I'd recommend each of them! Service was friendly and attentive. And the mini glass of champagne at the start of the meal was an unexpected touch! Will return again!
Our 1st visit to this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding, thoughtfully prepared, presented and extremely tasty. Drinks were good.We will return. Only comment is that this is an expensive place but one pays for quality of this kind!
Absolutely delicious, the canapés were outstanding!

This might be a 'your mileage may vary' situation. I found the flavors on the menu to be quite dark - bitter, burnt/roasted, dragged down. There was no balance or brightness. I would not go back to for dinner again. The desserts, however, were excellent. Go for the desserts!
