We love this place. The Exec Chef is very inventive, and we love the unusual ingredients we can't find anywhere else. Had the chicken liver pate to start, just delicious, and a side of chili hollendaise was to die for! The nettle soup was subtle but very delicious and different. Then, the lamb which was simply perfect, but better yet accompanied by the oh-so-satisfying Grumolo leaves salad, and the pea and squash purees, the Jerusalem Arthichokes (wow). My wife and I wanted to have a light meal, but still have the best Ice Cream dish in Pittsburgh to finish. We had the seared Yellow Fin Tuna to start, and I had the early Sprin Salad which was amazing and my wife had the Cabbage entree for the second time in a row. Excellent wines and service.
We had a wonderful meal at Siempre Algo after a concert at MCG. We love eating at the bar and talking with Kimber--she's the best. Chef Bryan added two new menu items that were delicious. The Pork Tenderloin entree was so flavorful with incredibly tender pork served with Collard Rabe, crunchy potatoes and a very creative "hollandaise" with blood orange and a little chili.
