An another amazing meal tonight from Slate! Dave is an amazing chef and never disappoints! The warm pear salad was the perfect combo of crunchy, sweet, salty and tang! Chicken Madeira was tender, juicy and full of flavor. Just delicious! Can’t wait to dig into the turtle cheesesteak for dessert!

I love Slate. Hands down my favorite restaurant! Everything is fresh and delicious. The salmon with leeks was the best. My husband and I have never been disappointed with anything we’ve ordered. We had a party for my dad’s 75th birthday and it was perfect. I can’t say enough! It’s the best!!

Eli was going to seat us upstairs until he saw my walking cast & quickly adjusted to the 1st floor. All of the specials sounded wonderful. Was hard to choose from them & the great menu. We both went for salmon. Mine was the special with lump crab in a creamy lemon sauce. Melted in my mouth! Will definitely be back here next time we come to Pittsburgh.

I made an online reservation for my birthday. I was unable to attend on short notice and had to cancel. A lady name Cheryl called and left me a nasty voicemail giving me attitude for cancelling. I was looking forward to trying the restaurant and was going to go back on a different occasion. After receiving the voicemail with attitude I couldn't imagine how they treat guests when they dine. I will take my money elsewhere.
Frozen and reheat dinner rolls, frozen and thaw desserts, 1 side veggie was grocery store carrots, salad good, but greens from bag, my sea bass was good, pork chop thin and too tough to chew, penne over cooked, took 15 min to get desserts, and over priced. Expected more made in house
