My friend got kicked out for asking the DJ for a pinky promise. Our group had all just got drinks. We were as sober as a nun.

I stopped in here on a Sunday night over the summer. Not many places on Shiloh Street are open on Sunday nights. Sloppy Joe's has a laid back and welcoming atmosphere. The other patrons seemed to be having a low-key good time. The bartender was zipping around making sure everyone at the bar was taken care of. Drinks are reasonably priced.Parking: Parking is available in a paid lot right on the other side of the street. Parking fees are reasonable.

Best place I went in Mount Wash. Service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly. Jake is the best!

DO NOT come here when DJ dinosaur is playing music. You get a mix of 2000s wedding music and oldies. Youll get 2 actual good songs out of 100. Not worth

just because this place has not been reviewed in a year does not mean it's not thriving! it's so fun. tuesday is karaoke !there is a bar, they have a lot of options but not all. they do not serve food but they will letyou bring food in. the vibe is fun, the place is small and cozyi think they are cash only so keep that in mind when coming. parking on a week day is easy but i'm sure a weekend is hard

Hands down one of my favorite bars in the City of Pittsburgh! This place is a regular neighborhood bar the people that make up its customer base are so kind and so funny you’re guaranteed to have a great time. The prices are reasonable and the pours are good! Jake and Melissa are the best bartenders make sure you go on nights they’re working!

Solid local divey spot. Drink prices are pretty good.

My wife, one of my best friends and I were completely ignored and asked to wait outside the door yet there was no line. As we waited the bouncer(who didn’t bother to even check or IDs as if he knew he was not letting us in) allowed two younger college kids to walk behind him and enter in the bar. When my wife asked ‘why were those two let in?’ He replied ‘they don’t count’. I’ve gone to Sloppy Joes ever since I lived in Mt. Washington and loved that bar. I know that they fired their best bartender recently and truly hope my being African American(as the bartender was a larger white male I have not seen before) did not affect the reason why I was not let in with mg wife and friend. Either way it was very sad to see and the reason why I will ultimately never go back to that bar and inform my friends who still live in Mt. Washington to not go back as well.

Not the same bar since they got rid of Leigh Anne. It used to be a safe and fun bar. Not so much anymore.

A dirty place and the management is horrific. Will definitely not be back.
