Never did care for the place, even in Homestead. Always overpriced tacos; won't be missed.

Awesome yummy everything. Staff was very nice. Fun drinks were great. Creative tacos very delicious. The place is rustic but with intentional vintage flare.

This used to be my favorite taco place in Pittsburgh, but they've been cutting costs left and right.

Every time I've gone since covid they've been super short staffed.

They pulled 80% of the menu

They started using store bought tortillas instead of their home made flour tortillas, which has ruined both the tacos and the queso

The salads no longer have fresh bacon or tater tots on them

I understand that you have to make ends meet, but I'd much rather you raise prices than get rid of what made this place special.

I'm throwing away my "SMOKE" hat.

I really quite enjoyed this place. They sell donuts on the weekends in addition to their regular Mexican offerings, and I am so glad I decided to come on a weekend. I tried out their glazed donut holes, glazed donut, and Mac n cheese. Very simple, but done so well.

The Mac n cheese was very tasty. It has flavorful breadcrumbs on top with tons of cheesy, creamy sauce all inside. It might be a bit too rich and creamy for my taste, but it’s still very enjoyable. The only real down side is that it is quite expensive for Mac n cheese, even with the very nice portion.

Both of the donuts were absolutely excellent. Again, so glad I went on the weekend. The glazed donut, although again a bit expensive, it was delicious. Definitely homemade. Soft on the inside and perfect glaze. The donut holes were equally delicious; a lovely bite sized treat, soft and flavorful.

I thought it was very good overall. A bit pricey, but I still recommend this place for sure.

Vegetarian options: Egg and cheese, vegetable, and other taco options as well as Mac n cheese and more

Excellent food, drinks and service, no complaints at all. Tried 6 different tacos and every single bite was full of flavor. Will definitely be back.

Parking: It's Lawrenceville, there's always a crowd so parking will always be a bit tricky but there's so much to do just park wherever and enjoy the walk.

Smoke is my favorite place to eat. Smoked bbq meats on tacos. All food made in house from scratch with quality ingredients. Everything on the menu is excellent. If you stop on a Sunday make sure to try a donut, the best you’ll ever eat!

Previously would eat there all the time when they were located in homestead. They moved to lawrenceville and told me I need a vaccine card to come into the restaurant!! What happened to the liberal way “my body my choice” I guess that only for applies to there abortion argument!!!! Will never be back!!

Attentive servers, good food and good vibes. We had the Mac and cheese and one of the tacos. ** SMOKE IS ALSO DOG FRIENDLY **
The taco was so good we didn't even get a picture of it since it was eaten too fast.

Best Mac and cheese I've ever had

Food was great, I got the chicken taco, my wife got the Mac and cheese (great). The service was great, our server kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Food was top tier, the beer was good. The restaurant was a little warm on the inside, they accommodated us to the street seating instead. We were able to bring our dog with us as well. Would recommend.

Smoke is my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh right now. Don’t miss out on the Philly brisket taco, the cabbage taco, and queso with chips. Amazing quality meat, delicious tortillas, and the drinks and local draft beer selection are divine. It’s hard to find the perfect combo of affordable homemade food, cool chill atmosphere, and good variety of drinks in Pittsburgh lately… and Smoke does it all!
