10/10 would eat here again. I got the “big meat” platter, it was pulled pork, brisket, and 2 sides. It was DELICIOUS. So glad we stopped here to try it.

I live locally and never see anyone at this restaurant - even on Friday and Saturday nights. Always wondered why a BBQ place with such high reviews would always seem empty - you would expect long lines. Well I finally stopped in and ordered 2 racks of ribs to go. When I got home and opened the container I realized why I never see any customers at this place - the ribs were burnt! I'm talking black charcoal burnt. They had to be on fire for awhile. What little meat was left under the charcoal was as expected - dry as old tree bark. I paid close to $50 for these 2 slabs of disaster. The only thing edible was the coleslaw which was surprisingly good. Never again - my advice is stay clear of this place - there is another BBQ joint just down the road that is not great, but 100% better then this place.

After a long weekend we decided to go for a quick bite to eat. I wanted REAL food. Not happy with some other local BBQ places I passed it on my way home so we decided to try it. We walked in the place is so cute! They even have some outdoor picnic tables. It smelled so good! The gentleman working was super friendly and sweet. The food was Amazing and a LOT of it. It was so delicious and reasonably priced. My husbad a big guy got the bigger meal and he actually brought some home and a half rack of ribs for later. I would definately give them a try! I had the chicken, mac and cheese, cornbread coleslaw all was really good. Wil definately be back.

Best bbq I’ve had in pgh, fall off the bone, nicely smoked, and spiced and the the sauces are on the side, which I prefer, the hot is my go to. The brisket and brisket chili are also excellent, slaw is great, as well as the baked beans and corn muffin. Been here 10 times or so, always enjoyed!
Phenomenal! We love the brisket, pulled pork, and the beans, cole slaw, & mac & cheese sides are awesome too. Always kinda busy but service is friendly & efficient. Good music too!

Flavorful, fall off the bone ribs. A great sauce. They have regular and spicy (which is only mildly hot). I've only had the ribs but they are really good. I drive out of my way to get them. Worth the trip!

I was just at spillys for my first time today I was very disappointed the food was lukewarm at best and the cornbread was greasy and disgusting

First time here. My husband and I shared the combo plate with brisket & shredded pork with meat beans and mac, and the 3-slider sandwiches with slaw. All very delicious! The little cornbread muffin was tasty, I loved the spice to it. The BBQ sauce is sweet. The brisket was amazing. We'll definitely be eating here again. We had a taste for BBQ and it got the spot.
