The view was beautiful. The atmosphere was also great! You can either make it a cute fancy date night like we did or you can just got for a casual outing. It did not appear to have a dress code. All of the food we got was great from the mocktail down to the dessert.
You know I really want to love this place but it's not easy. The best part is that it is a 2 block walk from my house. I have been three times now and my experience has been consistent. No matter what you order from the bar even if it's a glass of wine, it takes forever. The prices are high and the food is OK. Last night I ordered the mushroom strudel for $37 and it was mediocre. I don't think mushroom strudel is mushrooms mixed in with sweet potato purée and butternut squash chunks. That is not at all what I was expecting and certainly not for $37. The velvet fig cocktail was very good and the salad was good but not great. Tough stems should be trimmed off of field greens.
We enjoyed the experience overall. The food was quite tasty, somewhat overpriced, but it was worth it for the view. Our waiter could've been a bit more in intentive in terms of refilling of coffee, but other than that, his service was very good.
Staff and service were terrific. Went out of their way to accommodate our reservation request for a window with a view and made our birthday night out feel very special.
Great ambiance and window views. We enjoyed: stuffed cabbage & pepper soup, delicious scallops with risotto, perfectly cooked sirloin steak with yummy potatoes, and decadent toffee cheesecake. Amazing service from Amir!
Food tasted great but unfortunately, several menu items and bottled wine choices were not available. Also, kind of odd - there was only one red French wine on the menu (at a French restaurant) ...and it was one of the items not available. We chose a nice Italian wine instead. Our server was very nice and his service was good - eve though it appeared he appeared to be new.
You guys were not busy when we arrived for a late dinner. However, our waiter was extremely slow, he rarely checked in on us, and we had to wait a long time to get our check.
We arrived for our 1:30 p.m. reservation for six for a holiday luncheon, only to learn the kitchen closed at 2 p.m. When I asked about the timing and why they allowed reservations that close to closing, we were told: “It's on the website.” We ended up walking over to the Porch, which was a much better experience. Clearer communication and a more professional interaction would have made a significant difference. Don't accept reservations that leave patrons with insufficient time to enjoy their meal.
Poor quality food. Unharmonious ingredient choices making for odd flavor profiles. Very inexpensive bottles of wine sold at an outrageous markup.
Nice atmosphere, nice table, nice view, friendly staff, tasty cuisine, a bit on the louder side. Unfortunately, something was missing. Not sure if it was inexperience with the waitress possibly not submitting the orders properly or issues/slowness of the kitchen. There were four diners in our Friday evening reservation and we were seated promptly. The restaurant was busy, but not full. We ordered drinks and appetizers shortly after sitting. There seemed to be 3+ bartenders, but the cocktails took over 35 minutes to be served. We noticed others seated after us were getting served quicker. The appetizers took 50 minutes and came out piecemeal. The entrées and sides did not all come at one time either, with two dinners initially served, the third sometime later, and one of our party waiting several minutes after everyone else's meal was plated. We passed on dessert and went to another restaurant to continue our evening.

Lovely meal in a beautiful space. Scallops and Salmon were top notch, as well as great salad and appetizer and who knew we liked poppy seed cake! Overall a win!
Food was okay. I asked for a window table and then it was given to someone else as I waited for my son to arrive
I host my mother-in-laws birthday dinner at S&T last night and it was fantastic. The food and service was so great and their team went above and beyond to make this dinner/evening feel so special. 10/10 recommend!
We got two wrong dishes, one cold and a wrong drink order. The food was delayed and appetizers came out with the meals.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience. I messaged the restaurant through Open Table to say it was my sisters birthday and that her husband was in the hospital. So wanted to make it special for her. The team went above and beyond ... a handwritten birthday note on the table when we arrived, prosecco and candles for dessert. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Thank you for making a tough birthday for my sister something special!
