By far the best experience I've had at a Pittsburgh restaurant. Food, service and overall atmosphere was amazing. We will be back!

A beautiful and unique experience! Our group of 4 loved our dinner from start to finish! Highly recommend this for anyone who truly loves food and is looking for a Michelin star type evening right here in the burgh.

Our One by Spork experience exceeded expectations. From the moment we entered with two courses of small bites and the little parting gift with menu at the end, we knew that this was going to be a great culinary experience. Each course was delicious. As someone who is not a vegetarian for this experience, I did not miss meat at all. Everything was thoughtfully crafted and created. I highly recommend this experience.

Another outstanding experience! Our second time to the new venue and we can't wait for our next one!

Our visit to One by Spork wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. From the appetizer bites to the desserts, the food and beverages were amazing. We so enjoyed having the chef and sommelier describe each course. The atmosphere is formal, yet it feels warm and very personal, very much like you are enjoying dinner at a master chef's home. But this chef isn't grandstanding - he shines the spotlight on his coworkers - encouraging them to create their own dishes (our dinner included two). The U-shaped table allows interaction between chef, sommelier, and staff as they proceed through the courses (so you get an opportunity to compliment the chefs). One side of the dining room includes equipment and tools that the chefs use for their creations, which is fascinating. The seating in the round gives diners a bird's eye view of food preparation and presentation. Modern attractive tableware is changed up with every course by pleasant staff. Everything was clean and quiet, allowing us to absorb the ambience as well as the gastronomy. Finally, the food: they use EVERYTHING! All kinds of foods, and all parts of foods. I can't begin to describe it, so you have to try it to understand. But it results in dishes like "braised lamb doppio ravioli" and "dry aged black cod" which was SO much more than a piece of fish! My favorite was the upside down ratatouille (on puff pastry). Gives new meaning to zucchini. Sommelier Cecil Usher is as much as a delightful chemist/teacher/entertainer as is Chef Christian Frangiadis. What a pair. What a dinner.

Excellent food and service. A really great experience and our new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh!

Totally amazing experience! Went to the Monday vegetarian series. From the moment we walked in we were taken care of with a drink and 3 unique small bites. Then, whisked to the table for the main event. Each course was so thoughtful and paired with the drink. The chefs took the time to explain everything that went into the food and drink. Perfect pacing of each course. Everyone there was so efficient and professional. Take home bag with a few treats and copy of menu was such a nice touch. Would absolutely do this again. Bravo!

This was our second time to One by Spork. I just love this place. Chef Christian is an artist. This time, he also allowed some of his younger staff to prepare dishes. I enjoyed this tremendously. Getting to see young people create in an environment like this is an amazing experience. The food is divine. We always go sit in the garden after the meal and the staff accommodated us requesting this (we were the only guests to do that this time) and made us feel so welcome. Cecil is one of the most eloquent and educated sommeliers I have experienced. I could listen to him talk about the beverages for hours. It is a master class. If you get the chance, it is worth the visit.

The amount of preparation and care that goes into each dish was stressed in the description of each dish and beverage served. I thought perhaps given the price of the dinner, that inclusion of more premium ingredients would have been included.

We have had tasting menu dinners at a number of Michelin starred restaurants over the past decade or so. Our experience at One by Spork was on par with every one of them. The food was outstanding. The service was fantastic and not at all snobby. The other guests eating at the shared counter were super friendly. Just a great experience!

Gem in Pittsburgh! Food organically grown on property, expertly crafted cocktails and non- alcoholic drinks, curated wine pairings and a chef who is a magician! What more can you ask for? Ladies bathroom luxuriously stocked, cashmere shawls to keep you warm, left handed accommodations? Oh and the food plentiful and delicious!! Thanks for a great experience!

We were celebrating a special birthday and felt completely pampered and indulged with absolutely stellar cuisine and libations. Highly recommend for a real treat.

Incredible experience. Food was fantastic and the drink pairings were great. Highly recommend!

Excellence service. Beautiful glasses, plates and silverware. Interesting food. My issue is that for $275 ++ per person the wine pairings were bottles from $15-$25.. At a premium price the wines should also be premium. My mother used to own a wine store and I know a lot about wine and the low end bottles serviced I would never buy. I would return if I could bring my own wine.

We celebrated our anniversary at One by Spork. The chef and staff are all on the same page and provide an amazing dining experience. From the first contact with Carly to set reservations to the 16th course and dessert. Be prepared to expand your dining mind. You will enjoy all the things Chef and staff prepare. From their urban garden, and specially selected wines and drinks to blend with the perfectly prepared dishes. Looking forward to the next time we visit.
