Wow, the Benedicts here make square cafe an absolute must try! This place is super popular, but the short rib and corn beef Benedict’s were some of the best brunch dishes I’ve ever had. The meat was so tender and flavorful, really amazing!

Breakfast sandwhich was also solid, with their chive biscuit being tasty, and the juices were fresh and paired nicely with the food. Lemon ricotta pancake was very fluffy, could have used more lemon and ricotta flavor...
Lunch for three a couple weeks ago. Considering the crowd, the slow-ish (but friendly) service was understandable and restaurants all over town are dealing with short staffing. All three lunch dishes were delicious and very high quality, on the higher end of the price range, but worth it. Also, the atmosphere is very fun and colorful.
Great breakfast spot near the Shadyside area! The menu is quite vast but it seems like they have their style nailed down pretty well. It’s popular for a reason. I got to try out their lemon blueberry pancake, home fried, and bacon and egg breakfast sandwich.
