Purchased an ICB , bartender made sure the shot was super charged and was super fast. No food ordered but table waiters are a bit understaffed so service may come a bit slow. Overall great place

A 60-something local rocker, when I asked him which bar in Pittsburgh best captures the spirit of the beautiful ’60s–’70s, said: “Squirrel Hill Cafe.” I think he was right. There’s no pretentiousness here. Food is just food, drinks are drinks, service is service, and quality is quality. Time seems to have stopped here — and that’s a beautiful thing.

Great food, excellent staff & service (Matt is a legend, reminds me of some of my old friends/barmen in Dublin, Ireland). Crowd is easy just to chat with on any given night. And unlike most places in Sq. Hill, they don't empty your wallet.
