This is a wonderful Starbucks at the heart of Shadyside. I enjoy coming here to work when I'm in town. The staff keep the store clean, cheerful, and welcoming.

I asked for light ice with my drink and was given my drink with a full cup of ice. I then politely asked for less ice and more drink and normally the workers are very understanding, and will make the drink with more drink, buy the worker was very rude and told me that he made it with light ice very aggressively when i basically just paid 7 dollars for a cup of ice,

this place consistently marks my pickup order as ready and I get the app notification that I can pick it up. I walk in and have to stand their and ask like an idiot and wait for 5 minutes. We're hip to your act and it's unacceptable. Please stop doing it.
Just so everyone is aware: you see how they twisted my complaint below into a wait time issue? That was not my complaint. I am willing to wait as long as necessary. if you mark my order complete, it should be complete. They also expect me to be their business consultant apparently. No, thank you.

Best Starbucks ever. Even the manager is friendly and down to earth, sometimes serving customers alongside the baristas. Best atmosphere out of all the Starbucks in the area.

Just came back from trail walk. I needed a place causal yet convenient for me. The Place just open recently. I like it. It's nice and smart. The service was excellent and fast. The Barista, Steve was friendly and efficient. I ordered The Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap was great washed down with VT. Pineapple Lemonade. So good. The ambiance is Smart so Shadyside I love it. Definitely coming back.

$5 for a breakfast sandwich that is a almost certainly store bought is a joke. Tastes literally identical to the frozen breakfast sandwiches from the grocery store. It continues to amaze me how Starbucks gets away with these absolutely insane prices for food and coffee. It’s to the point of utter embarrassment.
