Just walked into ask for a cup of ice water, because I was under the impression that Starbucks typically gives out water. It’s 80 degrees outside, and the barista told me that I have to make a purchase to get free water. I would understand if maybe they were super busy but I was like the only one in there. I’ve also been to this location many times to buy coffee and food, so it feels like a huge insult. I’m lucky enough to be able to go home and get water, but what about homeless people who NEED water desperately? This new store policy is evil and pure greed

I walked in and said “hi, how are you today?” and just got a blank stare. I don’t expect much, I get that it can be draining, but at least be civil with people. Nicholas Coffee across market square is delightful if you want to be treated like an actual living being.

If you're thirsty and you come in here to ask for water. You're not getting it. There is no free water for you here. That's the first time I've ever heard that. Worst service ever.

Ordered a Falafel Pocket. Bag was labeled Falafel Pocket. Plot twist, I received something with chicken. I don't eat meat! Luckily, one bite in, I knew it was wrong. They were nonchalant about it-I requested a refund, but they gave me the correct order anyway. 👎🏿 for wrong order AND the nonchalant attitude!

My wife is vegetarian and ordered the spicy falafel wrap. They gave her a chicken wrap and were super nonchalant about the mistake. I expect better customer service--don't screw up the order and show you care if you do!
The reviews from 3+ years ago are still on point - overflowing trash cans in the lobby and dirty restrooms. Employees were chatting and didn't seem that busy but made no effort to even sweep up. Kind of a weird vibe in the cafe in general, doesn't seem like a good place to hang out. Extra star because they did have toilet paper and soap in the restroom at least
