Old time pub with GREAT food. Plates are way too much to eat. This is okay, you get 2 for 1 meals! They also have prepared and frozen pierogis that withstood my flight. Diners and dives picked this for a reason! I go everytime I am in

I was drunk like 10 years ago at a show at Moondogs and had to eat so hopped over here. This place got me into wings... You know, the whole wing. I want to go to another Moondogs show and come here to revisit that experience

I was in Pittsburgh for a day trip with my daughter and I must admit I did the “touristy” thing and looked up to see if any diner drives in and dives stop were near me. After asking a few locals they confirmed that I had to try the fish sandwich here. Upon our arrival parking was very close which j appreciate. The waitress greeted up warmly and said we could sit wherever. The food itself was ok but the reason for the lack of stars is the atmosphere itself. The place is in need of a deep cleaning and new lighting. While I’m sure it was different when Guy Fieri came here years ago what I experienced was very last luster.

Great food with a great price! Is the ultimate good ol steel Town bar/lounge with excellent service. A place where if you go away hungry, you've got a problem!!

Sunday old time jam and Tuesday bluegrass jams are the best. And also the best pierogies anywhere.

Vegetarian options: All over menu.

Kid-friendliness: Frequented by yinzers, keep in mind.

Knowing it’s a Lenten Friday, I called at 4:20 pm and placed an order for pierogies to be picked up. I was told “Hmmm, that will be an hour.” I thought that was excessive, but okay. I visited my brother until 5:10 a few minutes away. I walk-in and was promptly ignored for 10-15 minutes as dining in people who arrived well after me were seated and given drinks. One waitress asked if I’m there for a pickup order. (Yes). More time. I was asked by a second waitress if I had two takeout orders for pierogies (Yes) she continued that it would be a few minutes as they were finished with one order and getting ti the other one. Then 5 more minutes later I’m told by another waitress that I’ll need to wait until a little after 6:00 pm. It was clear to me that my order was given to others. A second order may have been also given to someone else. At that point I simply left. IT WILL BE A COLD DAY IN HELL BEFORE I GO THERE AGAIN. Let’s face it. An easy order was horribly and poorly handled. No attempt was offered to make things right. It was clearly presented to me that it was my fault for the mixup. It’s been a long time since I’ve had my time casually used up by such a group of confused and passively rude individuals. Do yourself a favor and head elsewhere.

Just YES. Mouthwatering pierogies as big as your fist smothered in sautéed butter and onions. Worth the trip from any area of town.Fish sandwich was great as well, served on Mancini's roll.
