Christine and Brittany are amazing. The food here is absolutely amazing. Best Reuben I have ever had in my life. Pierogis are the size of your hand and are the best I’ve ever had as well. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If I could come here more often I would. They even remember you 8 months apart from visits. Best hidden gem in Pittsburgh
What a gem. Pierogies (and halusky) are delicious. The place was pretty empty but still a nice environment to enjoy classic Pittsburgh. Also a great brewery next door making Blawnox a great place to visit for an afternoon.
Classic diner atmosphere with dim lighting and a few locals only (on a weekday at lunch). Stuffed pepper soup came out first and was very good, just enough to hold us over. After ordering in a mostly-empty setting, I was a bit disappointed when the main food took 30+ minutes to come to the table from the kitchen, but that's when I realized why it took the time it did: the portions were absolutely enormous and piping hot.
