Beautiful restaurant great location but they need better staff. When they try it’s wonderful. The food was good but when service at a place isn’t up to par…. It ruins it all and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. ??‍♀️

Burrito bowl is down right terrible, I'll eat just about anything but I couldn't finish the bowl. Cheese smelled bad, beef was tough and gross, and salsa had almost no flavor. Staff was very nice though.

Without a doubt the worst “Mexican food” I’ve ever had. Proteins stored on food heaters in plastic bags, overcooked white (not cilantro lime) spongy tasting rice, and operating on a limited menu because they only restock ingredients on Sunday (ate there on a Wednesday). Couldn’t finish my rice bowl, completely lost my appetite after about 5 bites. Just go to chick fil a across the hallway.

Waited 20 minutes to order no employee showed up. Don’t wait your time with this place. I would review the food but I never got to try it.

I was in the airport on Monday 12/12 about noon. The young man who took care of my order was excellent! He was so nice and polite! I live in Dallas but if I had a business in Pittsburgh I would have tried to steal him away on the spot! Loved my tofu burrito as well.

The service here is always hit/miss, but today it was especially bad. I walked up and waiting for someone to appear at the counter (this happens about half of the time - today's wait before someone appeared was a few minutes). They asked what I wanted (a quesadilla), and proceeded to put chicken on it. I asked "is that chicken?" "You said you wanted chicken?" "I didn't say, but that's fine..." I then asked "can I get black beans?" "No, because it spills out onto the press." "Okay..." And then the person proceeded to throw the food away, angrily walk to the back, and do other things. The line of people who were waiting all walked away... Good luck dining here!

Very tasty. I ordered a quesadilla and my husband got tacos. The man working there made them lovingly, as if he were making them for himself. Each piece of pork was carefully selected for size and nestled tenderly into each taco. Some lettuce had gotten into the cheese he sprinkled on my quesadilla, and he painstakingly picked each stray piece out. He toasted the quesadilla to just the perfect level of golden brown, checking on it several times to ensure the right doneness. The meat was flavored with interesting and delicious spices. Plus, there was no line, while mobs of people were waiting at the chain fast food places. Would recommend.

On par with Moe's. About as good as you're ever going to get in an airport, but that ain't saying much. Friendly staff. Cajun spice mix is doing most of the work, though.

The rice bowl was pretty good. Good variety. They really need to add an ice water or cup of ice as a drink option. No reason not to accommodate.

Nothing says Pittsburgh like a soggy, bland airport burrito. Congratulations, Steel Cactus, you did it!

I work at menzies at this airport, every time i come to the counter noones there or theyre on their phone behind the wall, today i came and looked at the menu and waited patiently fir the worker to get off her phone, she didnt so i said excuse me. She huffed and rolled her eyes and asked what i would like i said breakfast burrito eggs and bacon she huffed again and got out aluminum foil. She ashed what i wanted again and i didnt fully hear her. She huffed again and repeated herself . I left its sad i work right downstairs and will never go there to ear again no matter how hungry i am you dont disrespect someone having patience with you and being respectful. I wont ever eat here again

The food was great and they take care of regulars. Very professional and while waiting in line had a lovely conversation with one of the employees, Barbie I believe.

There's a big disconnect, Cold Tortillas straight from the bag. No bueno. The service was great.

Love Mexican and it doesn't get better than having a breakfast burrito early in the am. What is nice is that our Gate was B and everyone was headed to the closest which is Brueggars. We had to walk further but we made it and no line. Customer service was great. Burritos in the am just hit the spot before a 5 hour flight.
