i am writing this review while still in the restaurant. that’s how bad the food was. pink stains on a burger bun let’s be serious for a second… atleast my brother knows where not to eat now in pittsburgh. thought the water tasted better than everything else on the table. saving you all some time and not even consider this spot as a place to eat

The pepperoni pizza had a crispy crust, a good balance of spices, and the amount of cheese and sauce was spot on. Great place!

Happy to find this new place in the old Fuel and Fuddle building with very friendly staff and new dishes I haven’t had before (like this vegetable stew bowl). The crispy eggplant was a delight.

Great food, happy hour alcohol prices are good, and servers are very nice. Overall a great place to go and get food and drinks. It's hidden and not many know about it, which is a problem, but it's fantastic compared to other options around here.

Vegetarian options: There are a number of things a vegetarian could get here.

Dietary restrictions: The server seemed to take serious that someone asked for no cheese, not due to medical things, but choice.

Their ribs were amazing here. Possibly the best ribs I've ever had. At the very least the most tender ribs.

I ordered their beef stew and their Asado mix to get a bit of everything and their beef stew. Their beef stew was alright. I wish it was as tender as the ribs but it was okay in flavor and tenderness.

The sweet potato fries were probably the best I've ever had. They were creepy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, just perfect.

The chicken was a bit dry and crisp on the outside. The beef strips were pretty good.

The service was a little lacking as the waiter had to be reminded about filling up drinks and forgot to tell the cook our sides and so forth, but I give that a bit of a pass as he might have been new.

The fall of the bones ribs and the amazing sweet potato fries made the whole meal and cost worth it. They were truly amazing.

I would recommend eating here.

Damn, this food is good. The standouts were the smoked wings, which we got in lemon pepper and habanero. They reminded us of the wings we get in Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica - would love to try them in a jerk flavor. I love that they came with pickled cabbage. The beef stew was wonderful; such a unique flavor and nice homemade flatbread. I got the chicken fricassee, which had a nice light mushroom sauce. The ribs were lovely served with a fresh green sauce. Yuca puffs were nice too.

My favorite detail: of the dishes were served with what seemed to be homemade condiments. I got the tomato vinaigrette just to try and ended up spreading it on the flatbread because it was just that good. It was one of those meals where I wish I had a second stomach so that I could keep going. I will be adding the smoked lemon pepper wings to my snack rotation.

Note that we ordered takeout: everything was securely packed and arrived at an acceptable temperature for immediate consumption. What a fun takeout dinner for a Monday night (bonus points for Monday hours!). We spent ~$50/person but ordered excessive amounts of food via an app and will have leftovers for days.

The food is great at Stew and the ambiance is even better! I loved the drinks and can see all the hard work and love they put into it. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone in PGH who wants some Latino food! The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. They’re just getting started so they still have some busy days where everything runs a bit slow but they are doing excellent. Just be ready to go and enjoy your time. This is not a quick in and out place, it’s a restaurant! I also highly recommend the lomo saltado sándwich!

The ambience was amazing like so good. Food tasted like liquid smoke and the bread choice for sandwiches is strange. Great place to take brunch pictures

My husband and I went to this restaurant based on the online reviews, and we were not disappointed! The food was very yummy and not overpriced, the ambiance is very nice — I like the decor and the fact that it had a big screen on which we could watch tennis! The service was also very good.

So I like the interior, though I’m not sure what the vibe is. We had someone seat us, but sometimes they let you seat yourself. The server we had was nice, but it took them a while to get us. They seemed to be the only server even though it looked like the owners were just sitting down at the bar? Like help a buddy out, especially since this is graduation weekend, so they are filling up at less busy times. I knew the food wasn’t going to be that great, so let’s start with the fact that more then half the menu is drinks and then there is some food options. They’re called “The Stew” but there are only five different options on the menu for stew and also stew?? I could get that if it was winter or maybe a winter state, but not really PA and I’m not usually feeling soup in the summer. The Buffalo chicken pizza wasn’t good; the chicken on top tasted three days old and half of it was just fat, the pizza itself didn’t even taste like Buffalo. The fries were good and so was the house made ranch, but the blue cheese is heave on the blue. The drinks were over poured (so if you like your alcohol strong, this is the place). I understand they’re on the newer side, so hopefully they change things up and better themselves, because I do see the potential.

Also, I see a lot of reviews say the food is good… so I’m not sure if it just what I ordered, but don’t get the Buffalo chicken pizza.
