Best ice cream and so fun too! They freeze it fresh after you order exactly what you want with all of this fun fog.
So tasty and my kids love it too. Don’t miss out and try it.
great spot!
Very cool place, ice cream was delicious! I highly recommend checking this place out. The owner was very sweet.
Horrible service very expensive. Didn’t even get my milkshake and waited 30 minutes.
Great experience with great service if you're traveling this is a great spot for a sweet treat
Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream is a franchise that makes custom ice creams with liquid nitrogen. Customers choose the size, cream base, flavor, and mix-ins from many options, and employees mix the ice creams at negative 321 degrees. I ordered the off-the-menu Citric Substance ice cream. I had fun watching the mixing of original cream, raspberry flavor, berries, and mangos. The size small was actually a generous size, and I really liked the flavor of the ice cream and waffle cone. This Sub Zero also offers bubble teas, Italian ices, shakes, smoothies, ice-cream pies, and ice-cream cakes.
The experience at subzero was amazing, not only because of the ice cream and the process, but the employee Kayla, went above and beyond, and provided us the best experience and explained everything to us. I believe this girl deserves a raise! She was so kind and the ice cream was delicious!
Delicious and a pretty cool experience!
Absolutely love this place! The birthday cake flavor was incredible - perfectly creamy with real cake pieces throughout. Watching them make the ice cream with liquid nitrogen right in front of you is mesmerizing and adds such a fun theatrical element to the whole experience.
The texture is unreal - so much smoother and creamier than regular ice cream. You can tell the difference immediately. The staff was super friendly and explained the whole process while they worked their magic with the nitrogen clouds.
East Liberty is lucky to have such a unique spot. The birthday cake flavor tasted exactly like childhood memories but elevated to gourmet level. Will definitely be back to try more flavors - this is now my go-to ice cream spot in Pittsburgh!
Never seen ice cream made this way. It was an amazing experience! The ice cream was top notch too. Lisa is a total sweet heart! 10/10. Will definitely be back
