This review is from the outlet at the Novo Food Hall. Had the shrimp toast with salad and the crispy hotdog. The shrimp toast was delicious. Don't let the photo fool you, it's a big portion. The shrimp mixture is sandwiched between two pieces of bread. Yum. The batter on the crispy hot dog was just a little too sweet for me but still good. Also had a cream beignet and a slice of strawberry cake. I'm using the desert photos from the site. Can't go wrong here.

Why won’t you answer your phone!?I love their Matcha cake, but it is not available to order online. I’ve been trying to call them to order it but no answer for the past week. I am out of town and only there for a few days so I’ll try to pass by and see if I get lucky.

Sumi’s is our go to place for birthday cakes because their cakes aren’t too sweet. Also tastes better than Pinkbox across the street. When Asian people say the dessert isn’t too sweet, it’s actually a great compliment. The problem with most American cakes is that you can only eat a few bites before you can’t eat anymore due to it being too sweet and you feel your teeth rotting. Get either the green tea or mango birthday cake here.

An awesome Korean bakery! All of the items I got were definitely high quality. I think I prefer this place over Pink Box, but I’ll need to try more to be sure. I ordered the condensed milk loaf, twisted donut, plain buttercream bread, and the coffee bun.My favorite of the items was by far the coffee bun, which I was quite surprised by! It had nice, crispy edges full of sweet, but not too sweet, coffee flavor. The inside was soft and had hints of coffee as well. Overall, very good! And good portion for the price.The twisted donut reminded me of just a regular donut sprinkled with sugar. It wasn’t anything too special or extraordinary, but it was well made. The inside was soft, and it was very sweet.The plain buttercream bread was surprisingly not that sweet! The buttercream is quite rich and creamy. I will say, I would have liked a bit more of it, as the bread really dominated the flavor here. Still, great.I was a tad bit disappointed with the condensed milk loaf, but it was still great. I was expecting a bit more milky flavor and sweetness, but the hints of condensed milk are very light. The bread is still soft and fluffy, and a solid deal for the price.All in all, I really enjoyed this place. The desserts were all high quality and pretty fairly priced in my opinion. Solid portions as well. Some unique items, some more standard. Recommend it!
Kid-friendliness: Kids would enjoy at least some of these treats

Nice little place for quick cakes or shaved ice. The green tea shaved ice was good, a little too much green tea powder though. There’s also only a large portion size, so you’ll need some friends.
