Sunny Jim's Tavern est 1934

I asked for the wings well done and they were rubbery and tasteless. My fried fish was cooked good but negative taste. I wanted my money. Even the tartar sauce wa cheap and nasty.

Real good food

The smoked wings were amazing. Service was prompt and very polite. Definitely will be back to try more food. Lori was a great server and the cooks really did it up. Very affordable too. All around would give 5 stars for what this place is.. nothing short of great.

Two times we have attempted to bring our visiting out of town family to Sunny Jim's, and two times now we have stood >5 min waiting to be seated in front of the "Please Wait To Be Seated" sign without once even seeing anyone who obviously worked there let alone came to seat/serve us. Which is a shame, considering this time there were only 2 seated tables ( with checks on table / completely done eating) in the entire family side of the establishment. But then again, last time there was not a paying soul to be seen on the property from first glance, so maybe we aren't missing much??? Didn't rate the food for obvious reasons but I stand behind the rest.

Feathers on wings? Leads to additional questions...were they cleaned? The fries were cooked in unclean grease. Nothing more needs stated.

Food was very good, they have good specials as well. There was a pungent odor in the air the last few times we visited, perhaps cleaning chemicals?

The smoked wings are a must have . So is the buffalo chicken salad . They just do it better . Great place to drink and meet up with friends . Used to come in my early 20s to party, now im in my late 30s still coming in for a drink and a snack every now and then!

It's hard to find a good place to settle in and call it "your bar". Great people, staff is great, menu is crazy good. Outdoor seating etc. Gotta go...
