Very sweet people working here. We ordered a sushi sashimi combo, the spicy korean beef stew & unagi sushi. The unagi sushi was delicious. The sushi sashimi combo was good value, but not the best. The stew could be spicier & more beefy, but was otherwise tasty & nice for a cold dreary day.

Best sushi in pittsburgh. Folks running the place provide excellent polite service and the food is always consistently amazing the 10 years I've been dining with them. Their jap chae and chicken bulgogi are dialed. Kim's rolls and after death rolls never disappoint. Never a penny wasted here.

I've traveled internationally extensively, and this sushi is top billing from my perspective. We did takeout, it was ready on time and the food was excellent. I purchased the 12-piece assorted sushi platter and a rainbow roll. Both were fresh and made to perfection. The pricing was extremely reasonable too. Now I have a new "go to" sushi in the Pittsburgh area and it will be my top billing for sure.
I visited Pittsburgh on a business trip. By the fourth day, our group was missing Korean food so much.
I didn't bring cup ramen, kimchi, soju, etc. Korean food recovery medicine as if it hurts somewhere I started looking.
It seems like there aren't as many Korean restaurants in Pittsburgh as you might think. I searched on Google and found Sushi Kim 2 in downtown. After work, I went shopping and looked around nearby in the evening. I stopped by Sushi Kim 2.
The restaurant is on the second floor and can be found at the end of the stairs.
The owners are elderly men and women. I gained confidence in the taste of food. They were selling not only Korean food but also Japanese food such as sashimi and sushi, and there were quite a lot of customers. I could feel the popularity of Korean food.
Kimchi stew, stone pot bibimbap, sashimi boat, etc. I ordered it so I almost couldn't even take a few pictures. I really enjoyed it. Thanks to you, we were able to feel refreshed during our business trip. I was able to soothe him well.
However, when you see the food, drinkers will probably think of alcohol. The restaurant does not sell alcohol. As alcohol is a bring-your-own system, please purchase it in advance. They sell a lot of beer nearby, but if you want to buy soju, You have to buy it at a liqueur shop or a place that sells Asian alcohol haha. We read the reviews in advance and purchased 2 bottles. I was able to enjoy it well with accompaniment.
If I ever visit Pittsburgh again I definitely want to stop by again. :)
