We had a birthday dinner here. I had the Shrimp Teriyaki and an egg roll the food was just ok other people had raved about. The teriyaki overpowered everything on the oven heated plate. The egg roll was cold 🥶 and not right out of the fryer. I did try a Japanese made Whiskey 🥃 and a Sapporo beer. The meal and drinks were about 35.00. The Wasabi was deadly

I would highly recommend Sushi Tomo! Yesterday, I went there for the first time for lunch and tried many of the menu items. First, the chicken egg roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. They make them in house and from the crunch of the shell to the beautiful filling, it was love. The egg roll was accompanied by a house made sauce, that elevated the flavors. The General Tso’s chicken had just the right amount of spice for my taste and the broccoli was fresh snd beautiful. The lunch specials offered great value and selection. I observed a stream of steady take out orders while I was there. I will absolutely return!

Definitely a great place for sushi lovers and non sushi lovers! You can get great fresh rolls or steaming hot fried rice with a tasty general tso. Service was friendly and fast. I will be returning to try more rolls on the menu!

Taste of food was overall okay, but the inari order arrived with no rice filling. It was just the pouch!
EDIT: Based on response from owner, I am upgrading to 3 stars. They were correct, I ordered it "Sashimi" style. Thank you for the response!

We were invited to try this spot out & had a $50 credit. I went with 2 friends and 2 of us had babies. This spot is lowkey, no frills, and family friendly. The service is prompt and friendly. Because there were 3 of us we got to try a lot of things on the menu. We loved how they offer sushi, Japanese AND Chinese dishes - something for everyone! We started with crab rangoons and bang bang shrimp. Rangoons were as you’d expect & the shrimp were great! We also split one roll which was good. Entrees really shined! My friend loved her udon noodles, the other had a lunch special of chicken that looked healthy & delish & also came with a salad, I went with chicken katsu ramen and it was great too! They even have a full bar and we tried the cherry blossom marg and lychee martini & really enjoyed them. Overall a good experience & very reasonably priced. Good spot for lunch or a dinner with the whole family.
Parking: Easy free parking right infront of the restaurant
Kid-friendliness: We felt totally comfortable dining here with 2 babies & saw other diners with children

Folks were nice but first flag was the open boxes of supplies and employees' belongings scattered around the dining room. We ordered an eel roll, chicken katsudon, chicken katsu ramen, and gyoza. Gyoza and eel roll came quickly, the former was fine, the latter passable. The entrees however were a mess. Ramen came without requested add-ons and with a "six minute egg" that disintegrated in the broth before it came out. Katsu cutlets in both dishes were soggy and greasy, and there was fried egg with veg carelessly cooked in as opposed to a true katsudon prep. The ramen was sent back to the kitchen and they comped it but the rest of the meal was, wuite frankly, a waste of money that left us queasy and frustrated. Staff was very nice though which saves this from a one-star rating. Avoid this spot when there are far better japanese options within a ten minute drive.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. No changing tables in the bathroom.
