First time stopping here. The ribs are one of the best I have tried in Pittsburgh. So flavorful and done perfect. I can't believe I never knew this place existed. They have been open for a few years. I don't like my meat falling off the bone. I like to bite it off the bone. Shows the proper way to cook ribs. They have 5 different types of sauce. Ask for it on the side. The ribs are so flavorful without the sauce. The bark is so good, you will be sucking on the bones. Don't be I intimated by the location. The owner and employees are very kind people. This is the third time me and my mom have been to Sylvia's Market. Not only is the food good but the customer service is phenomenal.. Miss Sylvia and her staff makes you feel at home❤️The mac n cheese is soooooooo yummy and so is the brisket! We highly recommend this establishment and will continue supporting this small business ❤️

The food omg is just phenomenal! But what’s even better is the customer service. It feels like home. Silvia is such a remarkable woman with a heart of gold. Such an amazing human. Her niece always serves us with a smile and we are treated like family. I have grown to love Silvia’s market and her family. Come get some good food here. You won’t be disappointed. Absolutely amazing!!!!
