My boyfriend and I used to live down the street from here in Friendship, so we would walk up for dinner or happy hour sometimes a couple of times a week. The beer menu was always fantastic, we were always satisfied with the service, and the tacos were good. We liked being able to customize exactly what we wanted on them. The prices were fair and the atmosphere was always chill. Would highly recommend!

I hosted a birthday party event at SYN and highly recommend it! The location was perfect (they had us situated in their back room), the food was great and the staff was amazing. Many of the guests had not been before and were raving about how cool the space was and how good the food was. It was a perfect evening!

I'm spoiled by really good food and maybe my expectations were too high. I ordered tacos & I was disappointed. Hard to know where the issue came from, but I waited a while for the food. This was the only order I saw sent to the kitchen for the 20 min I waited. Server said kitchen made the wrong food.

Yeah....so not a great spot. The food is very mediocre. The service is very off .. I asked how big a pintlet of beer was and they couldn't answer. I asked how many slices the pizza was and was told "it depends on how big they make it." We never got plates, silverware and napkins... Beer menu is great here. That's about it. The tacos manage to be distinctly not good. By the way, there was no option to build your own taco or pizza here. That must have changed. I would be surprised if this place was open in the near future. It was empty.

I don't usually do bad reviews but I think this might help them get better... Friday happy hour... Bartender brought me an all foam beer, brought a taco pizza instead of the pizza taco, forgot silverware and my girl's drink, the guy bringing the food had a terrible attitude... And we let them know it was our first time there!!! Wow. Please learn from this. I live one block from you.

It took us 20 minutes to place a single drink order and then aboUt 30 minutes for the staff to come back and ask us what we wanted to eat. No one checked in on us during that time. After we ordered food, it took us about an hour to flag the bartender down for another drink. The bar wasn't busy, a max of five other people there. It was very disappointing. The only fast service was the food preparation. Only go if you have a lot of time to sparee

The wait staff are fast, friendly, and accurate. The decor is intimate, but modern with a clean look and feel. The long bar has ample room and comfortable, no back stools, just the right height for sitting or stand/reclining. The back room is cozy and intimate with a nice ambiance and electric fireplace. The front levels have booth and table seating mostly for four tops but adjustable for more. Two electronic dartboards as well.

Have sooo many choices for beers. Best place in Pittsburgh to get a drink. Food and service are also really great. I ate tacos and pizza. I like them. Great place to hangout.
New owners have done a fantastic job revamping the menu. The deep dish pizza is so delicious

Very friendly staff, great food and drinks. Unique cocktails and craft beers, and a great menu. We had two pizzas and they were amazing. I highly recommend the meat pizza, the spicy honey garlic sauce is delicious.We will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a few drinks and apps with friends. Just did the guacamole and chips w house margarita. I thought it was delicious. I enjoyed the space and atmosphere. Great time with friends. I would try it again for an actual meal.

Awful experience - waited an hour and a half after paying for my chips and guac and never got them, even after asking the bartender for them twice. Never even saw a server. Pretty sure my "house margarita" was made with Sprite. Bartender didn't show up so the whole bar and restaurant had only two people staffing it.

This place is bomb! I can't decide what was better, the queso, pineapple salsa and guacamole or the phenomenal Hawaiian pizza and a delicious creative cocktail. The staff was so friendly. The environment fun and exciting. Just a really great place to go! I can't wait to go back!
