This was MY TYPE of place. The atmosphere was moody, beautiful and stylish. The queso was to die for (make sure you grab that) and the drinks were so yummy. I had the spicy pineapple margarita and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a bit on the pricier side but it was worth it, in my opinion. Check it out if you’re in the area, I’m so glad I came.

We recently visited Täkō in downtown Pittsburgh and overall had a good experience, with a few caveats.

While my wife and I did not drink, there is a full bar with a wide variety of options that looked like there would be something for everyone. The atmosphere is on the darker side, and the restaurant really leans into an octopus/sea-monster theme with its décor, which complements their signature dish. Menus were accessed via QR code (we didn’t ask if paper...

Love the food, atmosphere and service! I normally have the Korean taco today. I changed it up and had both the fish taco and the mushroom taco with the classic margarita. They are all so good.
