I've been coming to Teppanyaki Kyoto for over 10 years. It's truly a delight everytime and all of the recipes have improved in quality over the years. More than fairly priced and I always feel like my soul was nourished after eating here. I recommend the korokke, shogayaki don, and yuzu cheesecake
This is a great neighborhood Japanese restaurant that focuses on izakaya style fare (no sushi). I especially love the okonomiyaki and takoyaki, and they often have seasonal specials as well. Sitting at the counter lets you watch the chefs work. The service is always really friendly.
Ordered a bunch of things on the menu with a group of four. The plates were sharable and inexpensive. The only memorable thing was the takoyaki, but not enough to warrant another visit.
