I was charged an additional $50.00 on my card with no reasoning. When I asked about it, I was given a runaround. Also had to pay additional for parking. Just seemed odd. Don't be blinded by the price offered online because you will end up spending more than the hotels closer to the Arena if you are attending a Pens game.

Best place to stay for Steelers game time! Great stay for concerts or just visiting Pittsburgh. Convenient, friendly guys for parking our car all the time. Thumbs up to them all! Price was a little steep on that Saturday when arrived for first day!

Room location for steelers game is perfect! We visit the Burlington downtown to help adjust to the weather. However, the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey to be cold, other than that had a great time.

Easy-In-and-Out location for work in downtown Pittsburgh. 24/7 snack cafe, decent breakfast buffet for under $20, easy for Uber/Lyft/Taxi pick up/drop off, 25-30mins to airport. Walking distance to multiple eateries and museums nearby. Great historical location at the head of the Ohio. Clean & all amenities in order

For the price you would have thought a chair to sit on would be in the room. There was certainly room for one. Micro wave would have been handy as well. Great places to eat nearby but using the hair dryer to warm left overs didn't work well. Beautiful view of Mt. Washington the confluence of the two rivers and the Steelers stadium was amazing at night!

The room was as to be expected size wise. I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator even though there was a cabinet for one. The line for coffee took forever, probably needed more employees for big event weekends. I would have like to have seen some sort of breakfast buffet add on option to our room. We were staying for a dance event so we didn’t leave the property and had to have food doordashed which gets pricey and just kind of a pain for breakfast. The restaurant was not offering breakfast during our stay.

This hotel is best avoided if you have any dietary restrictions. Despite numerous requests for a vegan option at the various mandatory work events catered by the hotel, I found myself starving for the entire conference.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I always appreciate honesty when I read reviews, so here goes. This was probably the worst hotel I have ever encountered, and I have traveled a lot. When I called the hotel to make a reservation, the person answering the phone was rude from the start (her name was Gwen). I'm unsure why she was so harsh, but it was not a good start. When we got to the hotel to check in, there was no hello, or welcome to the Wyndham, etc. The hotel clerk just said, "name?" Not overly rude, but not welcoming in the least. Still hoping for a good experience, we walked into our room, which was very small and sad looking. The wallpaper was peeling off in the corners of the room. The bathroom was small and dated. The bathroom door is a sliding door that sounds like a train moving on the tracks. It's very loud and doesn't provide privacy when closed anyway. The in-room coffee was not worth drinking. I threw mine out. I think the hotel pinches pennies. Such a shame as it could be a nice hotel. The curtain opened only to reveal a tiny window. The mini fridge was left open and water was on the floor. The door to the fridge wouldn't stay closed, so we had to put a chair in front of it to keep it closed. The lighting was bad. No overhead light made the room dark at night as lamps only give so much light. The walls are paper thin and the neighbors were loud till 2 am making it hard to sleep even with a sound machine on to drown out the noise. Then at 8:05 am, there was a knocking on our door. It was Housekeeping asking when we were going to check out. Seriously? Checkout is at noon. This was extremely rude. I mentioned this when we checked out and did get a slight apology along with the explanation that housekeeping is not us on the floors that early. They were knocking on my door and on other doors. As I said, the walls are paper thin and we could hear them. I did voice another concern when we were there, but was met with little interest in helping or apologizing. I've never encountered such poor customer service. I did not encounter any staff who were friendly. That's unusual. This hotel is overpriced and so run down. Do NOT stay here. Parking is expensive (38 a day). There are so many great hotels downtown. This is a one-star hotel at best. The best part of staying here was leaving. That's a first for me. I never enjoy leaving and always want my vacation to last longer.

My room smelled like sewer and the smell went into my clothes so they all had to be dry cleaned. Elevators were disgustingly dirty. Staff were awesome but overwhelmed since there was not enough of them.

Recently stayed at this poor excuse for a hotel to see the Steelers game. I'll start out with the one good thing ...proximity to Acrisure Stadium. The negatives are numerous but I'll touch on a few such as the elevators which were probably cleaned the last time the Steelers won the Superbowl. The room we stayed in was a double river view room which had the square footage of a large closet. The sliding door to the bathroom didn't lock and the bottom track that the door should slide on was missing allowing the bottom of the door to to be pushed out like a large trap door. The room itself was dated and looked like more than a few after football parties were held there. The remote for the TV didn't work and did I forget to mention how thin the walls are. I could go on but like I said in the title this is basically a roadside motel charging 4 star hotel prices.

Very good proximity to restaurants and attractions just walking distance. Our room was clean although you can see the wear and tear of the place overall. The swimming pool was excellent . We’ll surely recommend the place and we’ll be back in the future.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is great. We've been staying at this particular hotel since the early 1990's when Hilton owned it. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable. But rooms are also very date with worn furniture that looks like it is left over from the earlier days. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room. Rooms are small as are the bathrooms. No bathmat in the bathroom and the shower curtain would not stay put and as a result the toilet and floor got wet. This place does not meet the Wyndham Grand standards. But like I said, the location is great.

The staff on hand was wonderful however the lack of adequate staff and in particular the restaurant impacted the quality of service. The lack of doormen made handling our luggage stressful. I had accepted an offer to upgrade our room only to find out after we were in the room that the upgrade had not been communicated to the desk The desk did say they would move us the upgraded room. However since had unpacked and set our stuff out we decided not to move

Hotel was in a great spot. Unfortunately i would say the cleanliness of the bathroom was subpar. The hotel is older so that had somehting to do with it. Could use some mold treatment! Beautiful view of the rivers and walking distance to staduims.

The hotel was awesome! The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfy and the floor to ceiling windows gave us an amazing view of the river and Heinz field! Wish we could have stayed two nights! Walking distance to PNC park :)
