Texas Roadhouse is usually pretty good but had the absolute worst experience here last night. First off, loaded baked potato that was barely lukewarm. When I told the server she was pretty indifferent about it. Didn't really offer to make it right but I never send back food at restaurants for obvious reasons. When I want to pay the tab with my $50 gift card, the same indifferent server told me, they don't work. Our gift card system is down... What?? Manager comes to the table and tells me the same thing and pretty much demands that I just pay my tab. Never offered to make things right in any way. I left the place fuming mad and will not be back. Terrible terrible manager! If your systems are down, offer to make it right in some way instead of just pissing off the customer. And again, a barely warm, loaded baked potato at Texas Roadhouse? No excuse

Really fun. Excellent quality beef and ribs, displayed invitingly in case out front, nice sides, attentive service. Loud as hell, so go there with friends in festive mood.
We ordered takeout and the food was excellent for it being a restaurant takeout. However, when I went to pick up the order, there was a manager inside, who was very rude to her staff directly in front of me. She then proceeded to involve me in the conversation, which made me feel very awkward because she wanted me to side with her on how her staff behaved and worked. I also had to ask for my drinks that weren’t ready to go, and they had to check the receipt that we actually ordered drinks. They also left out the bread rolls, which we were so excited to have, and I at first thought maybe they don’t include the rolls with takeout orders, but they included the cinnamon butter so obviously they were meant to be included, but weren’t. Again, my major complaint is about the way that the manager talked to her staff, again in front of a customer, and also complained about how she was tired from closing the previous night and how she had to work all day the next day. I just thought it was very unprofessional again to be talking that way in front of your staff and a customer. If you are a manager of a fast food chain and are tired from closing the night before and have to complain about it in public like that, I don’t think a managerial position is great for you.
