Not what it used to be. Flavor was not good, staff paid no attention to me. Took my order, brought drink & food & I never saw them again. It wasn't busy. It was the Monday before Thanksgiving.
1 year ago - Probably the most flavorful asian cuisine we have had in a long time.
Service was exceptional, Sidney the Manager stopped to chat.
Sidneys personal touch and upbeat spirit made a great meal even better.
Our dishes were Ayam Noodles with chicken, Massaman curry, and Crispy Chicken which was Delicious.
The fried rice taste was a perfect balance.
Keep up the Great work.
We will come back.

Amazing!! They were out of the steak satay which was a bummer!! We’ll try it next time. We had takeout so I can only rate the food!!!

I ordered Tom Yum soup to go from Tai Foon, and I was extremely disappointed. When I got home and opened it, it was basically water mixed with a huge amount of onions. There were only 2 pieces of tofu and 2 small pieces of mushroom inside—nothing like a real Tom Yum. It wasn’t spicy, had no flavor, and honestly had no taste at all.

When I eat there, the Tom Yum is completely different and actually flavorful. It’s frustrating that the to-go version is so disappointing and not the same as what they serve in the restaurant. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

A personal favorite for take-out, this cultural restaurant has had alot of trouble with ICE and has reopened! Its dishes have changed a slight bit, and the environment inside is still lacking, but its still a good place to stop by. The pad thai is worth the time, along with the Hawaiian fried rice!

Horrible service - staff taking food to multiple wrong tables. Restaurant half full and I waited 30 mins before my food arrived. Never got my appetizer. And they still charged me for it. Go somewhere else.

Delicious Thai food and an equally amazing service. Establishments like Thai Foon make Pittsburgh great! Highly recommend the Pad Thai. Some of the best I’ve had in Pittsburgh. Will be back again and again.

Very good Thai restaurant in Pittsburgh. Indians & veggies would love it. A little bit noisy, but that's its charm too. Not very pricey.

The food was very good - everything was nice and hot when it came out. But I downgraded this review because the women's room says it's accessible, then it's actually not. The giant changing table furniture (actual furniture) makes it impossible to turn around unless you're cool with going while the door's open. Mothers or whoever also can't wipe down cloth but they could plastic. Get the Koala Kare flip up one, and get one for the men's room while you're at it since men have to take care of kids, too.

This was definitely not the best experience. After getting to our booth we asked which bubble teas were available but instead of telling us flavors she just flipped around her tiny iPad thing and showed us the small screen. After squinting at the screen I decided to order Thai Iced tea, but she was like no we dont have any but it was on the screen? How am I supposed to know how to read your ordering system, that's your job. Oh and also no inclusions so no bubble for the $5 bubble tea. Anyway, I ordered a black tea Matcha (yes I know Matcha is green tea but that's what she said).

She gave us exactly 0.1 minutes to look at the menu after that before returning to ask for our order. We again tried to place and order only to be told half the soups were unavailable (only after trying to order each one).

We decided to start ordering by asking what they did have. When we finally got our food, the soup was water with pepper in it. We poured chili oil into it but it still didnt taste all that good. The Pad Sew Ew was spelled weird. I wondered why they didnt ask for spice levels and it turns out it was because there was no need. There was no spice.

The staff were not well trained; didnt know the menu, were not helpful in informing of items they were out of...the food was also disappointing. Will not be returning.

I can't rate that atmosphere since I've never been there, but the delivery is great. I always get the same thing, Pad Thai with chicken. It's always good and there are always leftovers.

On the food service app, I left a note and said if it was a thing, 2.5 spice level would be good. I was just kind of kidding. I also told them that I was glad they were still open. They recently had some kind of ridiculous ICE raid.

They actually wrote on my receipt and I have to say, it is a 2.5 spice level!. They are the best!

Tasty and authentic Thai food. Excellent taste. Nice and spicy, I prefer 4/5 spice level. Generous portion size. Economical and can always have leftovers. Quick and professional service. I love going there to support my local non - chain Asian favorite for lunch and dinner. My favorites are shrimp tempura, yellow curry, massaman curry, Panang curry and Thai iced tea.
