I thought the pad see ew was good. I asked for it vegan with tofu. Confirm there’s no oyster sauce if you get it because I forgot. It did say black bean sauce though. Anyways, that was delicious. The yellow curry was very creamy too! Steamed tofu is not the move… lol

There were two large groups when we went in on Sunday evening. The place looked very short staffed. Our server even though he was very nice , couldn't keep up with two large groups and all the other tables. I love Thai food and often go looking for a place wherever I travel and this place didn't feel flavorful. Not sure if it was because it was super busy. The good thing is they have option to add tofu or other meats /protein to all of their dishes so it gives a lot of option for vegetarians like us. There were a lot of vegetables in the dishes and the quantity looked good.
We ordered mixed vegetables with tofu, spicy basil with tofu and a salad. The food was just okay. Spicy basil was the best. The mixed vegetable lacked any flavor. The salad was forgotten and took forever to come. The service was very poor. The server even though was very friendly couldn't be with us much. We went and got our own forks because the food came with only spoons and server was busy, and also some paper napkins. He did give us water once but didn't come to refill. We were happy to be done and get out of the place. One person was waiting for their take out order for a long time. And they were out of seats . Just not a good experience for us. Parking outside was difficult but we managed to find a spot. Parking was free.

The food quality is way below my standards for Thai food. More like soso chinese mall food than Nikki's thai.

Very nice Thai restaurant! I wasn’t aware of this spot until recently, so I’m very glad I found this gem. They have many of the classic Thai dishes for a reasonable price. I tried out their pad see ew with tofu and the black sticky rice with custard.

The pad see ew was very good. They definitely loaded up this dish with tons of vegetables, including fresh broccoli, cabbage, carrots, and more! The noodles were perfectly cooked and they used quite a lot of sauce, which I like. A decent amount of egg, although I would have preferred a bit more.

The black sticky rice with custard was near perfect. They had the lovely coconut to pour on top, which added a perfect hint of sweet and savory to it. The custard was perfect, the rice was delicious, it just really hit the spot.

All in all, this is a great Thai spot. Both of the items I tried, the pad see ew and the black rice with custard, were delicious. Definitely recommend!

Vegetarian options: Lots of the classic curries, noodle dishes, and more — and they are done very well

It’s a pleasant Thai eatery with a good measure of authenticity. BUT OVERALL BELOW AVERAGE with significant misses.

The menu is mostly the usual familiar Thai fares. ***There’s a “Specialties” section, which would be a way to test this place***

The most significant miss is the almost absence of fragrant spices that Thai cuisine is known for. There’s hardly any heat; “medium” heat is non-existent.

Absence of Fresh Rolls, unusual for a Thai eatery.

????? There’s that pesky Crab Rangoon that MUST BE CLEAR TO ALL… IT IS NOT NOT NOT THAI… IT IS NOT FROM ANY COUNTRY IN ASIA.

????? The Spring Roll is crispy BUT unseasoned and very little filling with very thick layers of skin. The overly sweet dipping sauce DOES NOT rescue this poor roll.

??? The Crispy Duck has very little duck, which are mere slivers of deep fried (almost charred) duck meat. It’s stir fried with crunchy vegetables BUT LACKS FRAGRANT SPICES. It’s soy sauce-base that tasted like poor attempt of a chinese-style stir fry. EATABLE BUT NO THAI FLAVOR.

??? The Bangkok Seafood redeemed this visit. It’s OUTSTANDING medley of mixed shellfish and crunchy vegetables in the most lovely turmeric sauce. This one hits FRAGRANT SPICES PERFECTLY.

Service is very good.

The place is cozy yet very pleasant.

I absolutely love the spicy Thai noodles at this restaurant! Every time I visit, the flavor and spice level are consistently perfect. Not only that, but the workers are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, which enhances the overall dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine served with a side of excellent customer service!

They have so many option! Staff is very knowledgeable about what is vegan on the menu. We had winter curry and Tom yum soup and mango sticky rice! It was all sooooo good. This is a must visit if you like Thai food and are in Pittsburgh

Tom Yum soup was strange.... Big cut cabbage, broccoli, veggies were just not fit for a small soup, Also no spicies, no taste, just bland (seems that at the end of the day they put all the left over veggies in the soup, forgetting unique Tom yum flavor.... Bad!

I’ve only gotten takeout from here, so I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere (although I’m sure they’re fabulous) but the food is excellent. We’ve tried pretty much every curry on the menu at this point and none have disappointed. I’ll continue to explore this menu and hopefully make it in in-person soon!

We're in Pittsburgh to explore areas for relocation. We went here for our first dinner and it was incredible. We had the Crispy Duck and Duck on Board and they were both delicious. The staff and atmosphere were wonderful. Will definitely come here again!
