First time at The Abbey...Girlfriends Sunday Brunch - sat at the table on the porch with the heaters & it was perfect to enjoy the sunny, but cool weather & have conversation! We were also celebrating a birthday - so we had cranberry mimosas (generous pour)! Our waitress, Rianna recognized the “birthday girl” & was very attentive! Our sandwiches (Chicken avocado, BE&C, and Rachel) with pasta salad were delish and large enough that we all took half home! Delightful time & we will be back to explore more...
Just fine. The food was okay. They were out of a few things and only serving certain menus in certain parts of the restaurant which was confusing and our waitress wasn't clear on the “rules” of that. The drinks were a 100/10! The crab dip was delicious but the rest was just okay. We also made a reservation but were sat in a nearly empty room at a small table next to the wait stand and away from the heaters (we didn't expect to be sat outside with space heaters on a cold March evening... and we were sat away from the furthest one. Half way through our meal I finally asked to move to one of the heated tables). Overall I wasn't impressed in the slightest.
The place has a big personality, the ambience is cozy and interesting. Unfortunately the service has been just awful, from the beginning to the end, rude and unprofessional.
The food was ok, but definitely not up to the price.

Had lunch w a friend today. Food was exceptional, service too. Quaint, private, clean. Curry frites are beyond sublime. We had a fantastic meal. I thank you.

The building was many different things throughout it's lifetime. The restoration was excellent. The food was great, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere is fun. Looking forward to my next visit.

Went to the Abbey for brunch with high hopes. Overall it was very “meh”. I got coffee and the Abbey breakfast with bacon and eggs over medium and toast. We had a 10am reservation. It took about 45minutes to get our food. Water and drip coffees were not refilled or offered to be refilled. When the food arrived it was cold. Eggs were runny, even the white parts. About half of the potatoes (homefries) were still raw. And toast was cold enough that butter didn’t melt when spreading and it was very crunchy. Bacon was okay.
Disappointed with my experience because I heard great things before.

Let me start by saying the food was great! Absolutely no complaints there, although you could find similar food elsewhere.
The staff was very friendly and made good recommendations on the menu.
The reason for the 3 stars is this was literally the slowest service i've ever experienced. The restaurant wasnt busy at all during brunch on a sunday. Maybe 10 total parties in the whole place. It took forever to get service after we were sat and at every step it was waiting 20 min for our waitress to come back. Idk if we were put in a forgotten corner? Finally we asked for the bill and after waiting for our tab for 30 min and no one coming back i had to go to the bar to find our waitress standing there seemingly unbusy to get our tab to pay. It was ridiculous. We could have probably left without paying and no one would have even noticed.
Lastly the place is very confusing. There is a sign at the front saying seat yourself but in the back there is a host that will seat you (and how we were seated.) kinda dark and chilly in the front corner we were seated.
Due to the service i probably wouldn't come back as i can get similar sandwiches/drinks elsewhere.
TL:DR; food is good, service is stupid slow if you have a couple hours to kill, might be a good spot.

The creativity and quality of the menu and the food is outstanding. The service has been spot on, every time. Friendly, informative, timely. I'm a tough critic, and this place is outstanding.

Always something new on the menu! Always good!
Wait staff are trained well and are professional!
Disappointed in meal and accommodations. Asked for bread and got burnt pita. Wanted to sit outside with 5. One was a 13 year old teenager. When we left there were 5 outside. Meal was fair to poor.
It was really a nice place to eat and the food is really good
